Utopia is the dumbest name ever. Utopia is basically like naming the island "Attack Us Please Because This is A Perfect Sanctuary".

Utopias are always crashing down in literature and movies and comics, it's such an omen for Scott to name it that.

Utopia, like almost every other time its used in literature, was named with a bit of irony. Its a comic book, and worst off its X-Men.....nowhere is safe, especially anywhere that's name implies they're safe. Its usually seen as foreshadowing.

Any way this is a trap. Bendis is trying to lure us in.,.. Don't do it! Run!

There was a rumor that he supposed to be writing a new series for Marvel called Utopians. So who knows what this is. We do know for one thing that the pacing will be horrible as usual

@hopesummersforthefuture: Yes, I have understood that, I believe in what Bendis said and I think that not only the New Xavier School could move to Utopia, but also the Jean Grey School; do you remember the dialogue between Beast and Storm in Uncanny X-Men 28?

But we have also to remember that in the regular cover of All New X-Men 34, we can see Cyclops an in the variant cover we can see Groot and Rocket Raccoon, even it they don't appear in the story. So that cover could mean what you and I think, but also it couldn't mean noting.

I was forgotten: the next year we will have a new "Avengers versus X-Men" and I don't think that the X-Men will present themselves divided to the battle. So I think that both the Jean Grey School, than the New Xavier School will move to Utopia.

i thought a year ago marvel said the new mutants that the phoenix made were going to fight the old "new" mutants like rockslide or dust. The utopians vs the old mutants.........also it looks like the x-men are going to fight the inhumans next

I've been running for a while when in comes to Bendis, but apparently in circles. I'd be shocked if Cyclops heads back to Utopia, considering how it's been determined a while ago that holing up in one place makes it too juicy a target.

@ms-lola: It can happens everything and the opposite of everything. Also a schism in the New Xavier School, with a group who moves to Utopia and another who remains in the Weapon X base.

All the issue of all titles will lead us to Secret Wars and in Secret Wars seem that we will have at least three different areas for the mutants of Earth 616: the Monarchy of M (area 29), Mutopia (area 32) and Westchester (area 33).

So, hypothesizing that Monarchy of M will be the equivalent of Genosha of Earth 616, we have only to wait, for find out if Mutopia will be the area both for the New Xavier School, than for the Jean Grey School and Westchester will be the exclusive area for X-Men'92 (I think so), or not.

Remain to understand where will go the mutants of Earth 1610. Maybe they could go with the Original 5, as result of the consequences of the displacement of the latters in the Ultimates Universe.

because it might just be the 05 X-Men moving out do to Revolutions in Uncanny.

@koays: It is coming out in April. It will be the first number of All New X-Men after Black Vortex.

To me seem so, because in January will come out All New X-Men 35 and in February will come out All New X-Men 38; they are mad.

It is probably that it will not any revolution, because this picture from the Hickman's Fantastic 4 (i don't know from what issue), seem confirm the hypotesys that there will be only a universe after Secret Wars. An universe where the survivals of all the battle will live; the girl who talks would be Valerie Richards, the second child of Reed Richard and Sue Storm.
