my dream x-teams. please kill ur criticisms im just stating how id want my x-men.

some of the characters are dead or villians but hey im doing this

X-men:

core team- the original 5( not the ones that came to present lol) act as one team when needed but all have team that reports directly to them but for the most part the O5 are not active.

Cyclops- overall x-men leader & leader of mutant race & of "The Twelve", member of "The Council"(Hates that they use the term illuminati), moves between the JGSHL, Utopia, & Genoshea

Phoenix- Headmistress of The JSOHL, member of the Twelve, Mainly stays @JGSHL

Beast- leader of the X-club, Member of The Council, member of the Twelve, Based on Muir Island

Iceman- member of the Twelve- Based at Australian Outback Base

Angel- member of the Twelve, financial backer of the X-men, Based at Worthington Inc, JGSHL, & Cavern X

X2- secondary team. according to public this is "The X-men". these members lead & report as Representatives of their teams

Storm- (reports to jean), member of the Twelve, leads FemX (new name of female X-team)

Wolverine- (Reports to angel), member of the Twelve, leads X-Force

Magneto- (Reports to cyclops), member of the Twelve, leads the Acolytes

Nightcrawler- (Reports to Beast), member of the Twelve, leads X-Calibre

Polaris- (Reports to Iceman on behave of Charles Xavier), Leads X-Factor

Emma Frost- (Reports to jean as dean of school but also to storm), Leads Genext

Sage- (Reports to beast), leads Security Squad & X-Redeemed. uses the same system she was using during XSE

Namor- King of Atlantis, Member of The Council

FemX: just because the idea of an all female team is bomb, Mobile Base

Hmm. The main X-Teams get so contorted and tossed up so much that it's a headache. I'd really just focus on a new Xer team.

yes im all for the future of the X-men, i feel that the O5 earned their keep & should move on to bigger roles within the X-family

@XsPectre28: I like a lot of these ideas, I especially like the original members being phased back into more support type roles, except for two things:

1- it seems pretty contrived and a bit of a waste to bring back Jean (again) just to have her in a support type or what seems to be largely symbolic role, I really just wouldn't bother.

2- I really can't buy the idea of characters like Wolverine and especially Storm being out-ranked by Iceman or Angel, and I really just can't see Iceman in the type of role you've put him in. Maybe if they make decisions as a council, he should be on the council, but I just don't buy him in a strait up leadership role.

Also, do you see all of the teams working under the authority of this council? because I think something like that could really take away from what makes having so many different teams be genuinely distinct.

• Cyclops - Oversees the team after the death of Prof X
• Storm - Field leader. Ranged attacks, heavy hitter, hand-to-hand
• Wolverine - Close range combat
• Beast - tech savy, intelligence, tech guy
• Iceman - Omega level mutant, all around due to the nature of his power
• Rogue - Tank (after absorbing another heavy's powers), bit of a wild card
• Cannonball - Recon, Long range
• Cloak - Teleporter
• Dagger - Long range
• Multiple Man - Secret weapon, one man army

Cyclops would turn the team into a less extreme X-Force team.

My dream X-Men team:

Cyclops - leader

Storm - co leader

Wolverine - team's combat fighter

Shadowcat - can serve as the team's wild card (can phase and surprise enemies)

Colossus - team's powerhouse

Beast - team's scientist

Iceman - omega level mutant

Rogue - the team's other wild card (can suck out powers out of enemies and use their powers against them)

Gambit - long range fighter

Nightcrawler - team's teleporter

Psylocke - team's secret ops force
