@Agent9149: Probably late teens IMO. Considering Cyclops and Jean were around 15 when they joined I'd say mid to late teens but no higher than very early 20's. Not enough to where Cyclops is going to ditch Emma for her.
My guess is each character represents a different book, i.e. Cyclops represents Uncanny, Jean represents Bendis' All New X-Men, etc.
Very, very good observation. This is just a promo for the relaunched MU in general, not for a specific title e.g. Uncanny Avengers; we know that Rogue and Havok will be in this team too and they're not on the cover. I mean, given this random selection of characters alone, this is clearly not a team.
Also, looks like Wolverine will be staying with the X-Men, or his version of the X-Men, given his uniform.

Well, it's a revamp/relaunch of the MU across their franchises, but I'm not sure if it's as continuity-altering as DC's New 52. The new continuity/state of the MU will be impacted by the events in AvX. Things are certainly being changed around, though.

Well, I think it's a great ideal for Marvel, actually. It'll streamline Marvel's books across their various franchises. Even if they revamp their books/creative teams every few years, each franchise is relaunched at a different time, making everything out of sync. This way it'll be progressive for the MU as a whole.
Also, from a business point of view they'll benefit from the same sort of success that DC did when they relaunched their line last September. Also allows for fans of the recent movies to jump onto newer titles with ease.

A few smaller changes to continuity wouldn't be necessarily a bad thing, and are more than likely to happen as a result of the end of AvX.

I agree, plus the Red Skull, given his character, influence and power, seems like a credible and serious threat. This should be a genuinely logical reason for a team-up between the Captain America lead Avengers and some form of X-team.
I'm really hoping for a Magneto/Red Skull fight (well, rematch, given they already fought way back in the 1980s during the "Acts of Vengeance" crossover)!

It can be explained by time travel.
They won't be doing that and tbh, DC didn't do that, either. Action Comics is the only title I can think of that's more like an origin story. Justice League is now set in present DCU.
I'm not entirely sure yet! I guess I'll have to wait and see more of them. I don't massively dislike anything I've seen so far.

What I wonder is what's going to happen to the rest of the X-Men characters like Colossus, Magik, Psylocke and those? Will books like Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men, X-Factor, and Uncanny X-Force be cancelled for these new titles and will they still stay in canon with the Marvel Universe or will Marvel relaunch everything in the universe and these are just some of the titles being mentioned?

@Hareil0079: I still doubt anything about Emma dying. I've heard nothing official about or any official rumors suggesting such.
We'll find out when AvX 11 drops in September. But as I said, the reason why Emma isnt even mention and why remender isnt talking much cyclops placement is simply cause of the the loss in AvX

I'm not saying I believe it, but with all this news and in this day an age where secrets aren't as sacred anymore for companies thanks to FB and Twitter, I'll just keep it in the back of my head and wait and see what happens.
As much as I don't like emma I dont see it happening based on the fact that her death wouldn't be significant and what I mean by that as something as in terms of "impact" for the characters in this event. Emma is the premiere X-men female though the way this relaunch is going and the merging of to big teams Post AvX things are up in the air. I'm positive though certain X books will stop being ran. (My money is on UXM and XML unless it focuses on Racheal or Kitty)

I am interested to see how this all plays out. While I am glad Jean is not being brought back from the dead, I wonder how she will react to how her life has turned out. Imagine going into the future to find out you married your sweetheart only to die on him and come back to life several times leaving him a emotional mess, or that she was host to a being that killed billions or that her entire family was wiped out to prevent any more potential Grey family mutants from being born, or any number things that have happened to her over the years. When the X-Men first came together as a team she was 15 or 16. If this is Jean of that age then she will be younger then most of the young X-Men now and not all that much more powerful. People forget, back in the original X-Men Jean was not this all powerful telepath able to bend peoples minds to her will and slap people around with telekinetic abilities. Originally she had pretty good telekinetic powers but limited telepathic powers. Those grew over time but if it is the young Jean there are many telepaths that could man handel her, like Omega Kid, Karma, Emma, Rachel Grey, Exodus and of course the Professor just to name a few. I hope she does not suddenly becomes super powered with god like phoenix level abilities. I hope there is a plan here and this is not just done for shock value or to further mess with Logon and Scott more.

Saying, "Emma is gonna die according to what I've read in CBRForums" is what it is a statement not stating as fact, The UXM tie-ins usually happen before or after. Like todays UXM, looks like takes place after the events of AvX6 and mentions how Hope left on her own. (pushing the whole aspect of a non kidnapping) and just before AvX7 since they are hunting sinister
I think it would be dumb to kill off Emma. I guess they dont want two powerful Telepaths around (guess that means bye bye to Psylocke as well) Im curious if they will kill off the other four of the PF leaving just Cyclops bc the PF or Jean Loves him so much.
So…. Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine and The X-Men will remain Bendis-free?

They said "All new x-men" is the successor to Uncanny X-men in the same way that "New Avengers" was the successor to "Avengers" so it could still be around...at least I hope so. They're being way too vague.
Yeah, I hope Uncanny stays around, too. And I'm getting tired of the Big Two being vague all the time. Say what you want about Rich Johnston, but he's a lot more straight forward than most people at DC or Marvel.
Also, Bendis is a hack and has admitted to having limited knowledge of the X-Men, so I wouldn't be surprised if this book sucks.
