Is it right for them to decide the fate of the mutant race?

Cyclops took over the X-Men, when he became the leader, he kick Charles out of the X-Men and he united the mutant race. When he did, he made a lot of questionable decisions, decisions that the other X-Men wouldn't agree with. He created the X-Force, he had no problem sending kids to deaths, he had no problem sending his family and friends to there deaths.

He didn't mind letting his friends or other mutants get torture. Cyclops was looking at the bigger picture, and didn't mind who got killed in the crossfire. As long as it wasn't Hope. Then schisms came along and the X-Men went there separate ways.

Then there is Wolverine, who follow in the same footsteps as Charles, by creating a school and he believe it was the best thing for the future generations. However, Wolverine has led to hit man squads, and he killed more people then anyone. Harley a role model.

Cyclops has became this cold -heartless leader and Wolverine has more experience at killing then anyone. So is right for them to decide the fate of X-Men. Should someone else step up and take charge of the X-Men.

Would these be better at leading the mutant race :

Charles

Charles, who more experience than anyone and has more wisdom then anyone. He wouldn't of created the X- Force. He has a lot of experience in creating teams, so bringing mutant race together is something he could of done.

Storm

Who has tons of experience in leadership, considering she lead two teams in the past and now she is leader of a another team and she playing a vital role in the extinction team. She also Queen of wakanda, so she has many followers, which means more people would follow her, cause they look up to her.

There is Cable, Havork and Cannoball. All experience leaders. There also Jean Grey, whenever she comes back and she has tons experience and people look up to her and if she not the phoenix, she could be suitable choice.

So is it time for someone to take over the X-Men and is right for Cyclops and Wolverine to decide the fate of the X-Men? What does everyone think?

I personally think that neither Cyclops nor Wolverine should decide the fate of the mutant race because if they think that splitting up the team is the best option in saving the mutant race, then they are definitely going about this the wrong way.  I can see both sides failing in their goals to protect the mutant race because either way, the mutants are being hunted now more than ever and they need to come together and figure out a way to keep the mutants safe from any danger.  There needs to be a leader who is willing to listen to their teammates and who will try to unite the X-Men rather than split up the X-Men.  I think that Storm or Jean Grey would be better leaders since they would have tried to unite the X-Men and they are well-liked by the teammates.

One person should not be what makes or breaks the mutant race.

I agree. I think that it all depends on the entire mutant race as a whole rather than relying everything on one person.  One person can't do everything by themselves because they would need help from other mutants to make the mutant race safe from the threats of the world.

Yes, while other mutants were hiding the X-men were fighting. They have done more for mutants than anyone else. Not ony that but they are the most knowledgeable on the x-gene. if someone has to it should be the x-men

Cannonball choosing the fate of the mutant race? Ha! That's only marginally more ridiculous than saying Storm should be up there in the decision-making team.
