Title says it all really. I can get it for £38 ($68 in USD) so would that be a good investment? Can't seem to find any overviews of it anywhere online

I don't have the omnibus for this, but I do have a Marvel Omnibus and let me tell you, it's a beautiful book. Not to mention I have read Claremont's Uncanny X-men and they are great comics, it's a must read for an X-men fan. I'd say it's worth getting.

I own the 1st Uncanny X-Men Omnibus and, to be honest, it was worth every penny. If you're as big a fan of the characters and creators as I am, you won't regret the purchase.

Yes. I got a copy last year, and I loved every single story in it.
