I read X-Men Season One two days ago and haven't found any discussions about it on the forums I go to. It seems like not many people have read it. So, has anyone read it? What's your opinions on it?
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13419 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Has anyone else read X-Men Season One?
Dude, this is what I want to now too, The art is nice and I understand the story is from Jeans perspective.....I want to know is it any good? how many pages is it? Is it one long story or more than one??
Inquiring minds need to know
It'll take you like the whole day to read, lol, literally. Skipped through some pages but it looks pretty nice, aint read it yet though.
It only took me about an hour and a half to read it. The main story is only 100 pages long with the recent X-Men #1 serving as the backup for the rest of the book. It was an enjoyable retelling of the 05 X-Men origin with good drama and interactions between the characters. I didn’t like the cliffhanger ending and some of the flashbacks. I’m not sure how hardcore X-Men fans will like it. I wrote a review if either of you want to read it.
I really liked it:) The art was nice and clean. Telling the story through Jean's eyes was good, she's probably the most iconic out of them all (I know Scott's popular and all but he doesn't have her reputation). Scott was this odd teenager just really focused on trying to be a good leader. It contrasts to how different he was then compared to how he is now. They addressed the the Scott-Jean relationship and reminded me why I liked them in the beginning. There was a cute scene where she promised that she would go out with him if they would blast them out of there metal-cagey thing Magneto set up. I like sweet things like that. It's purely nostalgia. Of course, Bobby, Hank and Warren are in there to.
It's not heavy, but I found it enjoyable. It was a good retelling of the first generation X-Men without the corny dialogue.
@JoseDRiveraTCR7:I've read a good percent. Oddly enough, the copies of most of the issues from one onwards refer to Jean's powers as 'teleportation'. Anyone else catch that?
@JoseDRiveraTCR7: That's very nice, thank you for sharing; however, I make a point not to think about it.
I just finished it and I loved it. The first class is my favorite group, and they were all represented beautifully.
Now I gotta get the Fantastic Four one, lol.
Is it just one really long story?? or several?? I'm aware its quite long and was wondering how its formatted. I also enjoy the first class of X-men and have been conflicted about buying it.I just finished it and I loved it. The first class is my favorite group, and they were all represented beautifully.

It's one long story with several flashbacks. It should be an instabuy to anyone who loves the X-Men, especially the first class.
