Hey I'm looking for some great Scott Summer stories to read. I've always like the character but never read anything with him it. Thanks for the help.
X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13419 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Great stories
The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix
This.
The current Uncanny X-Men series, the current Cyclops series, Astonishing X-Men (2004-08).
all of these are great.
The best ones have already been mentioned (New X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, etc.), but if you're up for something that's a little different, try Ultimate X-Men. It's actually really good for the first 65 issues. After that, drop it. If you're going to read that, however, make sure you read Ultimate War between issues 25 and 26 because there are some things you won't pick up on if you skip it.
@lordofallhumans: @starwatcher: @night4345: @ryagan: @oldnightcrawler:
did you guys like House of M(the beginning of bendis madness)
@hopesummersforthefuture: I have actually only read the first issue of House of M, but I like it so far.
if you're talking about just the 8-issue series itself (and not the other 63 tie-in issues, or the fact that there are 63 tie-in issues), I like House of M quite a bit actually. In fact, as far as contemporary event books go, it might be my favorite.
I wouldn't think to recommend it to someone who was looking specifically for great Cyclops stories, but I do think it's a great story.
@hopesummersforthefuture: I have not read all the tie in issues (that oldnightcrawler has mentionned) but yeah House of M was great fun in my opinion.
