@Daycrawler: It's been revealed that the Celestials created the Eternals and the Deviants from early mankind. Then shortly afterwords seeded the rest of humanity with the x-gene.

I'm pretty sure Apocalypse was aware, especially since he became so familiar with Celestial tech....if that's so, it's possible the remaining members of Clan Akkaba might know too.

Yeah i wanna know too... im not sure if i like the idea.

I thought the sudden upsurge of mutants had to do with the nuclear/atomic age? I'm not a fan of the celestials being the cause.
