System Specs:  Attached to the Iron Brother system  he can control the  robotic suits with his mind through direct brain impulses. He can also remotely connect to just about any communication device, including satellites and computers, across the world.. Extremis teleporter also allows Stark to move teams, within his lands, this is a faster and more efficient means of travel, thus dramatically increasing the response time.  Tony stark is effectively a genius, able to constantly create new and improved technologies and make upgrade after upgrade
He also has a Cerebro-like unit attached to his head
While wearing the headset he gains a kind o f  telepathy, he  can feel the heartbeat of almost every mutant in the world, which allows them to perceive and know the location of almost every mutant around the globe. receive best results due to their telepathic nature. On several occasions, there has been mini modified versions of Cerebra, allowing anyone to use them within an unknown radius, that links to the main computer network. 
 Some mutants have shown an ability to shield or protect themselves from Cerebro, I.E Wise Guy  
 
Bio: paralyzed from the neck down, tony started working on ways to restore his body, however he found, that he had much more power as a fixed object. during the 70s he campaigned for tighter security. By the time the 80s came about stark was watching every camera in America, soon after he began modifying his body. During the surge of technology of the 90s, he turned his body into a section of the stark towers main pillar. Stark then gained office of defense, granting him total access.

hmmm....I was just a little drunk when I wrote that last post. What I'm saying is: Stark is becoming more machine than man so his motives wouldn't be to obtain power, but rather to reorganize his surrounding and make the world and its inhabitants operate at maximum efficiency.

I wanted to write a sample with Flux in action.   I tried to remain true to what has been written about this dystopian future and tried to incorporate it.

Section X Base/Prison (Location: Undisclosed) (Time: 23:47)

 (Standing in a long hallway lined with state of the art cells.   Each cell is sealed with vibranium doors with a forcefield in front of the door.   Each cell has individual numbers and Greek letters denoting the prisoners and their abilities.   Located in the middle of the hallway is a security checkpoint with various monitoring and computer devices.)

“Can’t wait for this shift to be over with,” said the first guard.

“Why? You don’t care to guard the enemy combatants,” said the second guard followed by a slight chuckle.

“Let’s just say, I would rather be with my wife right now,” said the first guard while looking at his watch.

“She’s expecting to enter labor anytime now, right?” asked the second guard.

“Yeah.   And I want to be there when my beautiful baby girl comes into this world,” responded the first guard.

“You better not be getting soft on me Tom as a new daddy,” said the second guard with a huge grin as he punched Tom in the shoulder.

“Hey, John! Wait till you and Susie settle down and have one of your own,” laughed Tom.

“But in all seriousness, I’ll pray that she is born healthy,” said John.

“Thank you. I can’t imagine the government taking her away from me, even in she’s born differently from the rest of us,” said Tom (These guards are normal humans)

(Time 23:52)

“Are you still up for going to the…” says John when suddenly the lights in the hallway start going out.

“What the…” said John.

“Are we having a power outage? Should we check on the detainees?” asked Tom.

“No.   The back up generator should turn on any moment now.   And do you really think Big Brother wouldn’t have installed any safety precautions for this situation? We have nothing to worry about.   And our shift is going to end any minute now, so it can be the next guys problem,” replied John.

(A sudden chill spreads through the hallway)

“Is it just me or has someone turned down the heat,” said John as his teeth began to chatter.

“You’re right I can see my own breath,” responded Tom after releasing a deep breath.

“This doesn’t make any sense.   We’re in the middle of June,” said John

(A sudden chill runs up their spines and they look down at their hands to see that they have become pink in color.   The rest of the remaining lights go out, and the guards turn on their flashlights)

“Something is definitely wrong! Are you sure the safety precautions kicked in and that no one has escaped?” asked Tom in a panicked tone.

(They then point their flashlights around the room)

“What the hell!” yelled John as his flashlight fell on the wispy form of teenage girl floating in the air. (this ghostly form is a result of Carmen absorbing all the immediate heat around her and retaining all of the heat instead of the heat being able to reach equilibrium with its surroundings, resulting in subzero temperatures to form around her Thermo-Kinetic Body.   The wator vapor then condenses around her body, so she looks like exhaled breath does in the winter, resulting in a ghost like form)(Also, Carmen can be completely invisible like at the beginning of this scene, I just decided to give her a more theatric ghostlike appearance when she attacks the guards)

“Boo,” says Carmen telepathically to the guards as she releases thermokinetic blasts at the guards.   (The guards, as if hit by concussive force, go flying across the room and end up unconscious with third degree burns).   Carmen then returns to her invisible state as she returns the temperature of the room to normal.   Carmen then reverts back into her flesh form.

“Flux reporting to Kanji. I have successfully infiltrated the detainment area,” said Flux to Kanji through her earpiece.

“Access their security systems through the computer console located in the center of the room and turn of all the security devices in this sector so that the rest of the team can enter.   Since not all of us can pass through wall as easily as you.   At least not without being detected,” responded Kanji.

“I hear you. Flux out,” said Carmen.   She then put on her night vision goggles so that she could see in the dark room. (The only available light came from the computers and TVs in the security console)

“Too bad I can’t always have my night and thermal vision, then I wouldn’t need these,” thought Carmen as she made her way to the computers.

“Flux, let’s make mom proud,” thought Carmen as she began hacking into the security system.

“There! Done and in less than a minute. Not so shabby if I say so myself,” said Carmen aloud out of excitement.

“Flux reporting to Kanji.   The security system is offline.   The rest of the team should have an easy time getting here.   Should I release Raven Wagner now?” asked Carmen.

“Hold off until we get there in case there are any surprises, and that’s in order.  Also take out any new guards as they come,” replied Kanji.

“Hear you loud and clear. Flux out,” Carmen responded.

“Let’s see what else I can find while I’m waiting here,” thought Carmen.   She then began accessing the base’s various files.   Nothing caught her eye until she came across “Operation: Phoenix,” gasped Carmen.

In regard to Operation: Phoenix, it is just an idea.  I thought that as long as Onslaught wanted to find Phoenix to become all powerful, then the government would want to use the Phoenix Force as its weapon to strike down powerful mutants opposing the new world order such as Onslaught and his brotherhood.  For the new Phoenix, I was thinking about: Jean reincarnated, or a child/genetic creation using Jean's DNA so that a new host with a natural inclination towards accessing the Phoenix could be created for government use.  Maybe a genetic creation using Stark's and Jean's DNA so that Tony could have a new body with an ultimate power so that he could squash any insurrections against his world order.  Or not!  Also this story can be changed to better fit the finalized story as it develops, or scrapped.  I just wished to write a sample.

Option 1:
*Psionic-Fire Projection:   he has the ability to project his consciousness into a psionic-fire energy state that can travel distances outside his body and avoid physical injury. His projection could be used as a weapon or as a shield to defend him. (The projection is solar-powered and is a yellow-orange flaming ghost-like humanoid creature) The psionic-fire projection has the ability to: 
-fly 
-the projection would have telepathic resistance
-shoot psionic-plasma blasts (do physical and mental damage) 
-psionic-plasma emanation 
-heat signature sense  
-generate intense light to blind opponents 
-cause skin cancer (from the absorbed UV Radiation)
-possesion: posses others allowing him to control their mind, but the projection will slowly physically and mentally burn them away.
(I was thinking that eventually he would be able to have tandem consciousness with his projection and/or the target of the projection's possesion. Also I was thinking that later on after he developed his powers that he could generate multiple psionic-fire projections that could posses multiple targets.)

*Psionic-Fire body: (When his mutation activated his body would have been burned away) now he is a living psionic-fire being that can do the same things as mentioned in Option 1.

hey guys Sorry  i work the weekends, That isnt bad all Topher, good start and then it could rollback to an earlier point, some have been there before, others haven't.  I do have a few more people i want to add, they would be the other side of the story, the life and world that the people with good lives have.  Stark is Iron Brother, he still has some human indulgances, like he enjoys sending hunter team  to track and grab IMs ( illegal mutant) Yes he does want a better run world. This for the most part is like a govermental system working the same way on practice as it does in theory, while there are dissidesnts, there are more that would keep the world the way it is  
 As a side note the We have a really coold way to deal with both sides of the coin as far as Iron brother and Onslaught are concered.  
Kanji's team could be either swifts or brainstorms ], team Trying to get rid of Iron brother  
While the Group led by Wise Guy could be attempting to deal with Onslaught

Wooo y'all are rollin' right along! I had a few gigs with the band this weekend so i've been oot and aboot.
 
So, y'all have replaced (or are considering it) Kanji and Coyote with Wise Guy and Swift? Honestly, having characters divided like this prolly isn't gonna stick anyway. Just sayin, maybe we should just have Wise Guy, Swift, Kanji & Coyote as the go-to field leaders and whenever somebody writes a story they can pick 1 of them and then pick from the rest of the roster for the mission. 
 
This is just me so you can take it or leave it, but I think if you're creating a character that has like 10 powers with all these transitional forms and resistances, regenerations and energy templates....I'd prefer if they start off with maybe 2 of those and then slowly develop to become the uber power that you want. The story just looses a bit of chutzpa if everybody is all powerful.

I totally agree that the character(s) would need to start out with like 2 of the powers. (limiting them) I just got a little carried away I guess. (I was just throwing around ideas. Also, they don't need to be uber powerful) I am totally up for compromise and edits/changes. (thats sort of the point of the game --- that is, compromises for a team effort. Also, I left blanks so that others could jump in. I understand your point and I hope you will still let me have a part in the game.)

Fake as in they are not  fast like quicksilver or teleport like nightcrawler, but they can mimic it, to a degree, inside the veil, they can move 30 feet per second, then switch so that is 60 feet every 2 seconds, as it would be 30 feet to there sister and then another 30 away from.That means they can move roughly 900 feet a minute if i did my math right, that is around 90 mph, I could be wrong on the math


on the Fort Havok story, I hope you guys like both profiles, and they become lasting additions to the story. This character is unique, and has been a charcter of mine for several years i have just never used him in a story

He is at Fort Havok, for two reasons, He seems to be Invulnerable, and needs to learn how to use his powers in a fight. The name is based on the sound this makes, glass breaking 
 
Bio: Viktor Rasputin, born in russia, is the youngest of 12 children, and a very docile person, he was forced to enlist by his father. He cares about everybody and hates causeing others pain. His body is very odd, even for mutants, he is every cube of his body at all times. He can do a great many things, but is reluctant to do anything that cause another harm. In russia he drilled through a solid wall to help his brother, by spinning a single cube a high speeds, and then pushing his body cube by cube through the hole.
