They're most iconic bad guys are not bad guys anymore. If you would of asked this a couple weeks ago I would say sinister, but with him back I can't think of anyone close in bad assery that has not been used recently.

Yes. If the character had the right motivations I would want to see him working with the brotherhood.

Stryfe, Lady Mastermind, Selene.....or even Exodus in a big villain arc

I'm actually ok with there being no "big bad". It actually allows for much more nuanced and interesting story telling when the character motivations are what drives the story as opposed to a "confrontation".

For the most part the bad people in x-men has been humanity.

it seems to leave more room for hero vs hero to me, which is getting more then old lol

Don't know if it counts, but Future Evil Hope Summers. She'd basically have control over every mutant post AvX so that'd be interesting.

I actually liked the future brotherhood lead by Xavier's grandson. I thought it was a good concept anyway.

@raunjisto: The Dark Messiah story is probably one of the greatest never told.

@immolation: Yeah I also like the concept better than the execution and then all the confusion created by further time travel and the fact that Raze and Xavier Jr are both Mystiques kids and... Was that baby she had time traveled away or... I'll stop thinking about it.

@hawk2916: Yeah it would really be an interesting story I think. The mutant race's savior is also its downfall.

@raunjisto: Yeah Bendis overused time travel to the point to where it made him look like a lazy writer.

@hawk2916: Mainly I just liked the characters. I thought they were a good group. You rarely ever see psychics that are the bad guys anymore and Raze was pretty cool. The rest don't really matter. I also liked Jean snapping and turning bad, even though that was cheaply retconed.

@immolation: hmmm...well to each his own I guess. There was nothing about that story that I regarded as salvageable

Ruckus can shatter soundwaves by screaming, and Gorgeous George can stretch his putty-tar body and act like a brute.
