Want to start reading x men wondering what best title is in terms of art and storyline?

try x-men. start with issue 23. It will be the start of a new story. I have no idea how the art would be because x-men changes its artists often. There are issues where there are two artists and different cover artist.

you will have to dig deep and buy past issues of all new x-men if you are to start with it. the art is ok

i dont like the art of uncanny x-men

all-new x-men, uncanny x-men and amazing x-men

Among All New X-Men, Cyclops and Uncanny X-Men, I think the best is Uncanny X-Men in terms of storyline, but you have to know that it start after the event of All New X-Men 6.

Cyclops

All New X-Men until the Battle of the Atom

X-Factor for characterization.

X-Force for irreverence.

Uncanny for dialouge (save for the grr Scott Summers speak).

All New for the most classic adventure-type.

X-men for the most disappointing unmet potential.

ANXM for me because it is the only one that really has Kitty Pryde at the forefront.

I like Uncanny and All-New. Both are written by Bendis who seems to be a love/hate sort of thing around here. I personally LOVE the current run on Uncanny, including the art work by Bachalo. It is worth nothing that Bendis has said in interviews that he writes Uncanny and All-New like it's one book, so they (sometimes) compliment each other with the story (but not always).

Uncanny, All New is a close second for me though.
