So Beast brought back the original X Men just to stick it to Cyclops. He risked the timeline and pretty much the fate of the world so he could just get a rise out of Cyclops.

Also lets not forget that he originally left the X Men because he was morally opposed to X Force, yet he joins Wolverine's school knowing full well that Wolverine was continuing assassination missions with X Force, just to spite Cyclops.

What do you think? Have any other examples of him being a child?

When Storm was about to branch off like a bad-b*tch and create the X-Treme X-Men in order to find and preserve Destinies Diaries, he was on her a** for not consulting with Xavier or the rest. Knowing full well she couldn't have done that lest she jeopardize the entire mandate, but it was all good, it was only three issues before he was eaten by Vargas.

@Blink710: Beast is incredibly intelligent, if he thought time travelling would have bad consequences he wouldn't of done it. Time travelling in Marvel creates different universes, it doesn't damage the timeline. Plus, he didn't do it to stick it to Cyclops. He did it because he genuinely believed that he could change things for the better.

You know what, The X-Men have spent around 40 years treating Beast like absolute s**t while he was one of the staunchest defenders of the dream they founded on has gone out of his way to help nearly all of them at the risk of his own life, health and sanity only to get every thing he's ever done thrown back in his face by them so he finally decided to stop giving a f**k about people who only have time for him when they need something well Good For Hank

Cept in the latest issue he admitted that he did it to make Cyclops feel shame till the day he died. The argument that he did it to stop their younger selves making the same mistakes was also nulled by the fact that they stated Xavier would mind wipe them the minute they got back, meaning they wouldn't remember a thing. Making bringing them to the present pointless other than Beast wanting to stick it to Cyclops, who he has had a petty grudge with for years now.

Huh? They've all done the same for Beast. But the minute he disagrees with Cyclops he abandons the people he considers family. He's doesn't stand by his own word. This is a guy that chastised Cyclops for having a secret kill squad but is fine when it's Logan running the show. The same guy that as a Secret Avenger committed genocide. Hank is responsible for the deaths of more people than any other X-man since Bishop and he has the gall to condemn what Cyclops has done?

Beast's plan was simply retarded. Like already stated above, if he honestly wanted to change the Future and prevent the younger Scott to make all the "mistakes" he has donde so far, he would have gone directly to past!Xavier or something like that, instead of bringing the O5 to the present, knowing really well that everything they see, they will forget the moment they step back into the Mansion of their timeline.

It was like Scott and Emma discussed, that the only reason he brought the O5 was to mess with him and punish him. That's the only explanation, because if that wasn't Beast's real intention, then it just means he's an idiot.

Well, it wasn't just Cyclops; he brought himself back too. That's him risking his own life for the dream that he still believes in. I think his point there is that he still believes in Xavier's dream as much as he ever did, despite all of what Cyclops believes has changed.

Beast is the idealist, Cyclops is the pragmatist, Wolverine is a pragmatist trying to live by ideals, If all of the main characters always saw eye to eye, we'd have some damn boring comics. Plus this makes it mean so much more when they do..
