"pretty good and powerful" is a huge stretch dont ya think. There's nothing good or powerful about this event or the so-called revelations in it. The thing is a joke and so beneath Remender's talent

Not terrible but I agree it does not seem like Remender. His big 2 work seems to have taken a bit of a dip. This event reminds me of an idea that has an ending (which leads to the next Avengers series) and Rick tried to write to the end without a clear path how to get there. The conclusion may be solid but the ride has been shakey as heck...and the art. Not my thing.

It was disgusting and it shows how much marvel doesn't give two shits about continuity, all for spiting fox and ruining what Lee and Kirby did for the industry.

They took arguably the worst arc of Remenders run on Uncanny Avengers and made it an event. The actual arc that felt more like an event was the Apocalypse Twins/Avenge the Earth arc.

I enjoyed it, the Axis put down the X-men and Astonishing Avengers hard aka Thor and Hulk/Kluh kicked everyone's butt!

But what makes a scene powerful or at least what should be a big factor is the lead in.....and I really came into this not having cared about anything that's happened since the villains showed up to fight the skull.

Good issue but I feel like they could've worked to male me care sooner.

I mean I don't think we got one scene where the inverted X-Men interacted together...it was just "Well guys were evil now, time to build that gene bomb we always joked about....no Scott not the Jean Bomb, the one with genetics"

@hopesummersforthefuture: It was a terrible issue. The X-Men got there ass kick. Even Apocalypse, who got beaten up by Thor, Like that's going happen. Storm was the only X-Men that did something good in it, when she strike Iron Man with Lighting bolt. Then the Red Skrull returns at the end, after getting beaten up at the start. Axis Event, overall has been good I think, with some good moments in it. This issue was the most disappointing issue out of lot. I think the Axis Revolutions issue was much better. Kitty robbing a bank was cool. She would make a great villian, if she really was one.

@earthsmightiest: Lol nice. But you should check out the solicitations for Nova 26 before any statue is made.

As for the issue itself, not bad. Some of the other Axis main books are hit or miss, but this one wasn't that bad. Really interested in how it all wraps up.

AXIS is not very well receive by fans generally and comics critics. So yeah...
