I did begin to read the Astonishing X-Men but i did get a bit bored of the whole Cassandra and Perfection thing anyways i was just wondering wheter i should get the Edition of Issues 1-24 or start at the Ghost Box? Or something that's more recent edition wise i can read skipping the other arcs so im more upto date? I have read the Second Coming CEdition and i have read Schism, but Do i need to know there past? I kinda like the newer roster in Astonishing instead of the previous one "Emma, Cyclops, Kitty, Wolverine, Colossus, etc"

Just getting back into the Comics ^^

I havn't really read any of the astonighing series post ghost box up to "exalted" which starts with issue 44 but it seems to me that the only run that actually did anything that actually mattered was whedons run (issue 1-24 plus the annual) so you don't really need to read the later issues to understand whats happening currently with the x-men. It seems to me that astonishing is the odd book of the current x-titles as there never seems to be a clear focus with the roster changing every couple of issues. If I were you i'd just buy the issues that interest you and don't worry about the continuity as I don't think it matters. The main x-books ath the moment are Uncanny x-men and wolverine and the x-men.
