X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13417 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Are you going to buy the all-female team X-Men Book most especially because of...
Note: Ignore the G option.
I know that you are going to buy this because you like two or more ladies on the team or because you always wanted an all-female team x-book.
But who among the 6 ladies on the cover really drives you to get this book?
G - plot and art
Oh wait, this a Marvel comic without Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Captain America, Ironman, or Sentry.....never mind
It sounds very interesting and I guess we'll see Storm as a leader again (Why when Ororo leads, has her hair cut? I never liked the look, but I adore Ororo).
@jhazzroucher: It really is the combination of a classic, all star cast, being done by creators that I really like, that really sells me on this one. Storm's the only one you could take away that would make me lose interest in this, she's the key, but the whole cast looks great.
I like every member of this team. I'm not much of a Rogue fan anymore but I love Storm,Jubes,Psy,Kitty & Rachel.

Nah, lol, it just seems kind of pointless to me. The X-Men forums run rampant with voting threads.....why do I I always have to have a favorite?? Can't I just like the whole lore for what it is...characters and all??
If we don't count "Add a point, Take a Point" as spam (which seems pointless), threads such as this won't be either.Nah, lol, it just seems kind of pointless to me. Too many Jubilee fans are clicking Option G because that's just how they roll. We'd be winning if we weren't so silly.
Where have all the Shadowcat fans phased to?

is it because she doesn't have her superstrength and flight anymore?
Not just that but they also changed her look. I don't keep up with X-Men as much as I should but it seems like she's not as curvy and mature as she used to be, she looks like she got younger over the years. X-Men X-Treme Rogue was the last decent incarnation.@Vance Astro said:

Indeed.
Storm is the main draw for me but I like all of these characters, and it's HUGE plus that Brian Wood is writing it.
Shadowcat! Closely followed by Rachel, Psylocke and Storm's mohawk.
Every member of this team is one my favorite X-Men.
Love Dodson! So happy to see Jubilee back and from what I hear, while all the ladies have main parts, Jubilee is the main protagonist of this one.
Its taken years for Jubilee to finally have something bigger. I am excited for this comic, sounds great and I love all of the main characters.

Not a fan of Dodson. Rogue, Kitty and Jubilee doesn't look beautiful
Storm is the only one that doesn't look very good in that image. It's the mohawk...Not a fan of Dodson. Rogue, Kitty and Jubilee doesn't look beautiful

pfft. PFFT, I SAY!
Storm getting her mohawk was when she really stepped up to the plate with the X-men, I'm glad she's doing so again.
I voted Jubilee, since Liu's X-23 introduced me to her but didn't really showcase her much. She and Psylocke are on my list of characters I wanted to read more about, and it sounds like this will be a great way to do that. Very happy to hear such great things about the creative team, too.
Thing is, she's only gotten older. I think she's a little too old for edgy haircuts. Also I've seen artists do the mohawk well, Dodson, however draws Storm alot better when her hair is long. Also I really don't like how her X-Force costume looks as drawn by different artists. Anka designed it and it seems like he's the only one who can draw it well.@Vance Astro said:

So does that second image essentially confirm that Jubes has the fireworks back?? O.o
Sparkly vampire FTW!

Storm should be what by now, early thirties? That's how old I am, and I don't think she's too old for it. Also I don't think that the leader of the damn X-men should be judged by conventional (or any other) beauty standards. And, for me, that's part of what her having it represents, that she won't be judged.
You kind of are. You're to old to follow fads and trends. Box cuts and other 80's styles have some back now and I'm not following any of those trends again, I already did that when I was a kid. I'm not 30 yet but i'm more than half way there. The mohawk was cool years ago,it's over now. Bloodstorm is the only version of the character that should be rocking a mohawk.Storm should be what by now, early thirties? That's how old I am, and I don't think she's too old for it. Yes, I look forward to Rachel Grey being a badass psychic that this universe needs. Vamp Jubilee isalso a favorite and Rogue is ok. Kitty is the only one I worry about. She pretty much became Emma Frost lite, which isn't bad, but she's not the condesending, bitchy, manipulative type. Storm and her Mohawk is groovy as always, Betty might get better as a ninja since Rachel is the real telepath/telekinetic powerhouse here. I do not wish to9 see Pixie in this. X23 could be fun if she wasn't killing everyone in AA.

pfft, I'm old enough to not care if something's popular or not. And so is Storm. Plus she especially shouldn't care, because she's the leader of the X-men and I like when her look makes that statement about her personality.
I don;t like it when they make Storm look like a bimbo, it's a disservice to the character and to the readers. If any one went up to Storm and was all like, "I don't like your mohawk", her response would probably be something to the effect of "I don't like your attitude", but with more attitude, because that's the kind of tough, classy lady she is, and that's why she should have a mohawk.
But if you do something because it's "hip", then you do care. Storm also isn't real, if the writers want her to do something to follow a trend..she's doing it. She doesn't have a choice. I'd rather she just wear a ponytail or get another type of short haircut.pfft, I'm old enough to not care if something's popular or not. And so is Storm.

I thought you just said that mohawks weren't hip?
You're right in saying that she isn't real, and therefore doesn't have a choice. But she should be written as though she is, and therefore she shouldn't care what you think about her haircut.
Where did I say that?I thought you just said that mohawks weren't hip?

She doesn't and neither does Marvel. I'm just personally not into it.and therefore she shouldn't care what you think about her haircut.
