When is Marvel going to start focusing on other superheroes like Gambit more than Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America, or Iron man?

Gambit is one of the very underused characters in the studios. We rarely get to see him on screen except in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

And plus, some of us don't even know the potential/limits of this guy and I don't think we have ever seen him show his true fighting skills either.

Do you guys think Marvel and Hollywood are going to start showing the story and "in-depth" character of Gambit one day?

All the animated cartoons did was just show Gambit talk in Cajun accent, help Wolverine out, and charge objects, that's about it. Gambit can do much more than that can't he?

He's pretty much the main character in X-Factor atm, keep tuned to that if you want some Gambit action to look forward to, though he may be turning robosexual.

He was probably Marvel's third most popular character in the 90s. And since 90s nostalgia has become marketable in the past few years, I can sort of see him becoming a big name again.

Leave Gambit back in the early 90s. Where he belongs.

@squares: Yeah... no, I want to see him on a big screen.

@ascended: He's the main character in All New X-Factor. He recently had his own on-going which ended before ANXF started. And for movie, he was in X-Men Origins, but...we like to pretend that doesn't exist.

@squares: My apologies. Comics book don't really give an accurate judgement of how good or strong a character/superhero is sometimes until they're played out.
