I've noticed something everybody. So far the X-Men have had 4 cartoon series but as the years have gone on each series has been getting shorter.

X-Men the Animated series (1992-1997)- 76 episodes.

X-Men Evolution (2000-2003)- 52 episodes

Wolverine and the X-Men (2009)- 26 episodes

X-Men Anime (2011)- 12 episodes

What about Pryde of the X-Men...that was only one episode and it was first

I didn't count that one since it was only a pilot and was actaully a series.

Yeah they definitely are but also DC cartoons such as Young Justice are killing Marvel in cartoons. X-Men cartoons have never been as good as the first series

@Hysteria: You forgot allies for peace from the 60's but don't worry everyone else did to

Some of the episodes get predictable.

I think we might get an Ultimate X-Men sometime in the near future, like Ultimate Spider-man. Wolverine is supposedly featuring in a future episode of it so maybe they might expand the universe with Ultimate X-Men.

Wolverine and the X-Men series was pretty good, funny to see how it got cancelled, and one year later, Marvel takes the two main characters, Iceman, Shadowcat, and makes a new comic book with the same title.

Marvel needs to slow down on the Spider-Man games and cartoons, and the kid-friendly Avengers, and run an X-Men cartoon that will actually last for more than a season.

@tomchu: Problem......DISNEY!!!!!!

Wolverine and the X men got caned cause half of the US still does not have Disney XD, and most who do, don't watch it, because aside from the marvel block the shows are piss poor

Also Avengers is doing well

@Hysteria: All four of the Marvel Anime projects are 12 episodes long, that was the contract with Madhouse. As a way to get the Japanese back into american based comics. Japanese are use to short run Stuff. the longer running shows come about if they like them

X-men have been declining and being pushed aside since "THE AVENGERS PUSH"
