    at tthe tailend of the battle, they seem to be power boosted. Storm looked like she's made of lightning, firestar looked like a female human torch and iceman and rockslide looked a lot bigger than usual

    They were temporarily boosted By "Canadian magic", yes. I wouldn't call it an upgrade though because they clearly didn't keep it.
