why does wolverine look like he has no clothes...lol
Team » X-Men appears in 7396 issues.
Idk how to explain the Phoenix but it seems like Cyclops somehow saw the future and saw Wolverine kill Jean Grey and went to the school in order to stop it but ironically ends up causing the vision once Wolverine sniffs his scent. Interesting...

Looks more like Jean's just having a nightmare, and the trauma causes the Phoenix to drop by and say hello.

hmmm... also a plausible conclusion. I can't wait to read to find out the truth. The suspense is killing me! Only five more days with this double shipping schedule...
Wow, slow your roll Wolverine damn.
To me it looked like Logan was actually trying to kill Scott, he evaded the attack and it stupidly hit Jean instead. Scott thinking they were going to kill Jean was probably just a supposition. Or well, everything could've been a dream.
Anyways, the Phoenix manifesting inside Jean already? And Logan bursting into her room nude? Why?? Someone please explain me why, speacilly the last part.

yes if u kill jean then the phoenix force gets released and the whole universe dies
This is obviously just a dream. Unless that jean is a fake or a clone.

I think it's a nightmare of jean too. She knows her future so that's the reason wolverine killes her and even tough she is angry with scott I think she still loves him and that's why scott's trying to save him. If that is not a nightmare than ''it's Jean bloody Grey, showing off, again''

That's a nightmare, I guess. Let's only hope that the fire bird doesn't come back
Hopefully, that's also just part of the nightmare.
But, some of these images, such as Wolverine killing Jean, should not have been in the Beast's memories, which is, ostensibly, how she knows about her future. Thought of that when (in issue 5) she has a vision of her and Cyclops on their honeymoon in Cable's future/past. So how is she seeing things that the Beast never witnessed?
My theory is that when her telepathy triggered, apparently just by her becoming aware of it, other hidden powers were unearthed as well. Rachel had the ability to send minds through time, so it could be that she did something like that to herself while she was linked to the Beast; or it could be some form of precognition like she seemed to have during Morrison's run.
thoughts?
ITS TOO FUCKING SOON, KNEW IT WAS GONNA HAPPEN BUT IT SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED ALREADY

maybe there foreshadowing for the future wolverine and scott confrontation between all-new x-men 9 and uncanny x-men 3

yes makes sence like when jean will meet emma frost and learn about the affair, jean will be like 'there are just some things you just dont forget" and plus since adult jean put emma frost back together once jean would know how to bypass emma's diamond form, its called a backdoor people
oh its strange how emma lost her telepathy and jean gains hers....lol irony

@TheCrowbar: Also Wolverines' expression on that panel after he kills Jean is priceless!
He's like, "oops, did I do that?"
lol
Dream implanted by Frost perhaps?
damn ya'll were right it was just a dream... but why did she dream Wolverine naked... hmmm ;P

It was only natural. Wolverine is literally as well as metaphorically an animal, so she dreamed up what was metaphorically as well as literally, a wild animal.

And to think; Storm is supposedly kissing that wild animal...:p
All the thoughts Jean kept hearing... I liked the one that said the Avengers were a bunch of hypocrites. I lol'd. Also some of there were trying to call Emma. The one that said Miss Frost was most likely the Cuckoos, but the one that called her by her first name, who could've been?

Makes sense to me.
I really like the Angel/Archangel scene. But seriously, when are people going to fill him in?
@AgeofHurricane: ah, didn't realize you were still reading that utter piece of sh*t.
how's the new issue? I haven't read it yet :)

Comic-book covers usually lie for the benefit of sales, the pages within however, do not.
Check mate.
@dangallant984: Lol. What utter piece of sh*t ? ANXM or WATXM ?
@HopesummersFORtheFUTURE said:

I think it's probably to make him seem more animalistic. Based on what Jean has seen so far, Wolverine is just this hairy ballistic ball of rage. It would make sense that her subconscience would manifest him in such a primal form.
@AgeofHurricane: haha! All New X-men, in this case. I thought you hated this book.
Honestly, the choppiness of the dialogue to me reads as a dream/nightmare. The 'little x-men' have already been shown to be wary of Logan, so maybe this is one further step. As for the phoenix... I thought all that energy was dispersed to 'rebirth' the mutant race?
Please no more phoenix. and what is cyclops doing breaking into teenage girls rooms? creepy.
@dangallant984: Oh lol. Yeah i don't read it, and do despise it, hence why i'm here trolli--sharing my disdainful views. :D. Excuse me if i (unintentionally) mislead you to believe otherwise ?

I think maybe Hellion
@AgeofHurricane: not at all, maybe just a little curious as to why you're still reading..

In this comic Beast said that Jean should not be able to read minds for another year, this leads me to believe that the Original Five X-Men spend an entire year in the present/future. When they do finally go back to their time a full year has past that Charles fills in with fake memories.

That wasn't when she read storms mind? If not, Beast might not have had a memory of the event but he did have knowledge of it.

I've never liked the metal-winged Archangel even though I guess this was considered a powerup. Still, the new version, without memories, seems kind of air-headed like Longshot when he was on the Outback team.
@Vec: I think what's implied is that Xavier didn't let Jean realize that she had that power until a year later, otherwise it still wouldn't make sense as to why she has it now.
Otherwise, this is kind of a cool theory.
After the bad time-travel (it doesn't work like that, Bendis), reverting Beast to a one-dimensional character, being exposed to Hank groping older Hank's pectorals and grinning like a creepy fool over it, and all of the other contrived nonsense... we now have young Jean (pre-Phoenix era) going Phoenix?
Seriously, why does anyone read Bendis? I... just... don't understand? His stuff makes me weep for when the X-Men were good. Now I understand the pain of those Avengers fans who had to put up with him for... how long was it? Well, I empathise, Avengers fans. I feel your pain. I truly do.
