Ok so I was wondering is there any mutant teams/groups that where activists? Less radical and terrorist like than the Brotherhood but not as passive as the X Men?

The Original X Force was kind of a middle ground, I'm referring to the team made by Cable when he recruited most of the Original New Mutants not the current hit squad

The X-Men pretty much are all the mutant groups. Sure the Avengers have some mutant members, but not on the same scale. I guess there was the allen Angels briefly, but only because they were being gathered so another alien race could study the genetics of mutation in order for their own race to learn how to evolve again... But as that was a one-off eight-issue limited series from the 80's hen I guess it doesn't really count ;)

X-Corp was X-Men based, just like X-Force. Pretty much anything with an X in the name is still X-Men. Unless you want teams like Freedom Force, or the MLF?
