Plot Summary

Sabretooth ambushes Wolverine while he’s skiing in Aspen, Colorado and uses a mutant called Mrs. Hoo to swap his mind into Wolverine’s body in order to get close to Warren Worthington. He leaves Wolverine’s mind in his own body, but makes sure it’s severely injured, while he visits Warren Worthington at his business address. He informs Worthington that his company in North Carolina has found a way to reverse-engineer Forge’s neutralizer, which means bad news for mutants. Warren is skeptical but agrees to check it out for himself. They arrive at the plastics application facility and make their way into the complex, but they arrive at a dead end. Warrington is furious that he’s been led on a wild goose chase but Creed, still in Wolverine’s body, destroys a partition wall and reveals another part of the building behind it, hidden from even Warren himself.
They take out a group of armed guards before Creed turns on Worthington, attempting to slash him. Suddenly, Logan appears, in Creed’s own body, and they begin to fight, but Creed gives him the slip and heads to find his prize, the neutralizer. Everyone is surprised to find it in a laboratory, almost finished, and Warren destroys it without even wanting to consider all the options. Creed and Logan continue their fight but Warren breaks them apart, only to somehow act as a conductor for their minds to revert to their original bodies. With the neutralizer destroyed, Mrs. Hoo reports to Sebastian Shaw that Creed has failed in his mission. Nevertheless, Shaw is optimistic, knowing that this incident might sow a little discord amongst the outer circles, so their inner circle will continue to tighten.
