Team Blue Vs Team Yellow..Team Jacob on the sidelines

Hello and welcome welcome. This may go different then my others.

Backstory: The Start of “Civil War’ like battle that plays on a like 40 + years of tension. Cyclops, The Boy Scout of the team, who as of late, been made out to be jerk. Wolverine, The fight fist, my way “bub” individual, who is very hairy and is good at stabbing.

To a DC Fan like me, this the X universe Superman and Batman in a lot of ways, night and day characters that work together and have a brothers in arms relationship , yet Scott and Logan don’t wear it on their sleeves(from what I’ve seen) and of course they blow up at each other. This is one of those times

Story: Wolverine fights Ninjas…Awesome. Comes home, Cyclops ask him to come attend peace talks in Switzerland, with the UN. Kid Omega(who I’m not all too familiar with) wrecks the talks. The countries that where there, beef up security and the X-men plan for a fight.

Writing: 4. Good mix of action, Inner team turmoil is a building, good job of setting the table.

Art: 3.5 Good, streamline, but a lot of Marvel art is like that now so…Costumes are tre swank

Overall. 3.5 to 4.0, it’s all about your attitude seeing a fight between x-men, Me 3.8

Last bit: My nod to Supes and Bats, I still have that view, but Cy and Wolvie (in this story) have a role reversal , in the ending with Idie (Oya) Wolverine tries to shield her from the nonsense of situation, something echoing the Superman type, Yet Cy wants her to stay, something echoing Bats. Cy seems to be the guy, that has to be the putz when it calls for it. (Maybe cause as of late, that's how he's been seen by the fans)

Take note "Fear Itself", this is what an event should feel like! 0

After all the hype and all the buildup X-Men: Schism, the story that's supposed to change the very landscape of the X-World, has arrived. After reading the first issue, this story is already feeling weightier and more important than Marvel's flagship event "Fear Itself".   Jason Aaron's first issue is in many regards exactly what you would expect. It's a setup issue that puts all the pieces together for the greater story while enticing you with the series' potential. Aaron lays everthing out fo...

They start it off right! 0

Everything is great about this issue and I'm not just saying that because it's the start to an exciting new arc that I've been waiting for since I started seeing ads for it when I started reading X-Books a few months ago.  It starts off nice and slowly.  As you've seen in numerous previews, Scott and Logan are off to speak at a conference about arms control.  In the speech Sentinels take the place of what would usually be said about nuclear weapons.    Some plot points will seem unfamiliar to yo...
