The Great Divide 6
Alright, so I'm going to do this review a little bit differently. I'm going to say who chose who's side and why. Then I'll do my Good, Bad part. SPOILERS!!! Iceman - Wolverine - Wolverine asked him first and bribed him in beer and basically sucked up to him Psylocke - Cyclops - Believes that the school is the wrong direction for mutant kind Colossus - Cyclops - Doesn't think he's safe to be around kids after the Juggernaut incident Shadowcat - Wolverine - She loves the school (?) Beast - Wolve...

So Where Is My Dazzler and the X-Kids Book? 1
X-Men: Regenesis picks up the slack of Schism and dives into the matter of which X-Men choose what side. It's largely a foregone conclusion since we mostly already know the casts of the post-Schism books, but this is more about trying to explain their positions than shock us with who goes where. In that regard, it is mostly successful even though some scenes don't do such a great job and there is overall the sense that a single issue really isn't the ideal way to try doing this.Since X-Men: Schi...

The Epilogue to Schism (kinda) 2
So this issue actually somewhat takes place before the end of Schism #5 because that ends with Wolverine's flight to Westchester. So this is more of an explanation of why those specific people were on his Blackbird. This also takes place after at least the NEXT X-Men Legacy issue and Uncanny X-Force issue. (Which is a little weird narrative-ly) Also, Generation Hope #12 sandwhiches this issue. The art was great, including the metaphorical tribal fight between Cyke and Wolverine. The issue was gre...

Why is Marvel letting these goofballs make this??? 0
I think the most important unresolved issue here is: Why is the guy running the black ops biz quitting the army to form a school, and keep the black ops running??? Wolverine is acting WAY out of character here, this thing really doesn't make sense :( Not to mention X-23, Gambit, Jubilee, Danger, Sebastian Shaw... these cats shouldn't be X-Men at all! What side is Xavier in anyway? Doesn't he have to approve of his property being used, at very least?...

All New, All Different Mutant ReGenesis 0
Here it is folks! What we've been waiting for since the beginning of the year when they first started releasing promotional pictures...the X-men have split! And what a split it is...To start off I loved that this entire story was set in between the last few pages of Schism #5 as opposed to continuing on with the story from when Wolverine left with his group. Instead of moving right on with the story, the writers took the time to walk us step by step through the dissolution of the mutant empire. ...

Splintering decisions 0
Schism was a very solid job from Jason Aron and I truly hope that he keeps up the good work with Wolverine & the X-Men, but it wasn't a good name for the arc story, it almost felt a little funny, "schism", what a terrible name, now I can't say the same thing about "Regenesis": that's a strong, powerful and worthy name of an X-Men new arc story - I really liked this one shot because of how the creative team decided to illustrate the conflict/clash of ideas between Logan and Summers: the fact ...
