    Mysterious and intriguing 0

     After reading articles about this book I made the decision to break out of my norm and buy it. What I found was something that surprised and entertained me. The artwork by Sara Pichelli is grungy and angular but somehow attractive. It totally fits with the macabre tone of the story: an intriguing, twisty, winding oddity of a story by Kathryn Immonen. All is definitely NOT what we are seeing, as Pixie and her girlfriends make their way through high school. Or do they? What is the mystery t...

    "It's not my fault you're in love with a big gay cheerleader who won't return your phone calls." This issue is... random and nonsensical, to say the least. It starts with "Ruth", "Laura", "Megan", "Hisako" and "Cessily" dressed like stereotypical teenagers, each fitting their own stereotype with the character descriptions are beyond silly. They clearly have no idea who they are. – Cut To; Utopia. Four of the five girls are missing, but Ruth is still on the island, even though she's also with the...
