Every girl wants to be rescued by her prince, and of course reward him with a kiss or two.  Every girl wants to ride off into the sunset and live "Happily Ever After".  Well, Remy is not exactly a prince, but as far as Rogue is concerned he could rescue her any day.  About that kiss, we all know about Rogue's ability, but having control of her powers opens up a whole new world to Rogue.  Additionally, I don't believe in happily ever afters, but there can be happily ever beginnings.  I think this could be a wonderful beginning for Rogue and Remy.
They have had an on again off again relationship for years, and many are over it.  I am one of those, but unlike some I think they deserve a chance at happiness with each other.  I think they belong together.  They are a symbol of love conquers all, eventually!

I enjoyed the Salvage arch of X-Men Legacy a great deal and was looking for this final issue to be the home run. This comic isn't a home run. This book reads like filler. I felt like Mike Carey used up all his good ideas in the previous issues in the arch and had to fix everything in the last issue before mom and dad came home. This is sort of a useless insight though because anyone who sees this cover and has a remote interest in Gambit and Rogue making out is going to buy it. Well spoiler warning: they do. After what seems to take forever, and Charles being his usually jerk self, Gambit and Rogue lock lips and those to crazy kids are off to face the world. For better comics with smooches check out my X-Factor review, this issue let me down.
