Plot Summary
Iceman, Dr. Cecilia Reyes, Marrow and Sabra travel up the Atlantic coast toward Connecticut. Iceman recalls the battle against the Prime Sentinel strike force in New York; the trio of mutants emerged victorious with the aid the Israeli super-agent, Sabra. She also informed them that the key to defeating Bastion is at his 'home' in Connecticut, as well as Timmy, the abducted son of Detective Charlotte Jones.
In Washington, D.C., Senator Robert Kelly has just successfully lobbied for S.H.I.E.L.D. to put an end to Operation: Zero Tolerance.
Iceman and his allies reach the home of Rose Gilberti, Bastion's 'mother', or creator, and find Timmy. Unfortunately, they have walked into a trap, and are surrounded by Bastion and his Sentinels. Iceman and Bastion commence to fighting, while espousing their philosophical differences. Bastion appears to gain the upper hand when S.H.I.E.L.D. forces arrive to end the situation without further conflict and they take Bastion into custody.
