Someone… something… is killing vampire slayers all over the world. Blade, the biggest, baddest slayer of them all, gathers an emergency assault team to blitz the bloodsucker underground and force answers out of whoever’s not reduced to a pile of smoking ash. But Blade’s not going to like what he hears. A new dawn is rising for the vampire nation. Glad it was a one shot 0

  This comic tells the story of what happened right before issue #2 of the new Curse of the Mutants main X-Men book.  The art was pretty good.  But the story was absolutely pointless.  Except maybe as some back story for why Blade was in issue #2 and what the general plan of the vampires is.  I really did like Blade in this book.  I don't usually read Blade, but this one certainly makes me consider it.  So I guess it has that going for it.  Hence the 3/5. ...

X-Men: Curse of the Mutants-Blade One-Shot 0

This week featured a lot of X-Books, and it's easy to let some of them fall to the side. I don't blame people for that. In fact, for that very reason I didn't get this book, because I was already buying 3 three other X-Books this week and didn't feel the need for this comic. Instead I just read it, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Do you need it? No. But is it good and a nice prelude to what the X-Men have been facing recently?
