Was this a good or bad ending for this crossover? it depends on which ending you focus on
After reading this crossover and being excited about the story until it let me down in the last 2 issues and trying to write a review of the event, I came to the conclusion that maybe this mess was worth it if you focus on the "unspoken" ending more than the one that is shown
If you focus in Wolverine´s and Cyclops´s teams, this ending had no effect since nothing changed between them except for Kitty changing sides
Kitty´s ending wasn't very good either because I felt her reasoning was bad and unjustified since she argued that none of her teammates supported her when she wanted the original x-men to stay. The problems with her reasoning are that first, at the beginning of the story she agreed that it was the best thing to do; second is that she leaves Wolverine´s team just for not agreeing with her although no one except for Rachel and Cyclops agree whit her, and third, she now joins Cyclops´s team and his revolution philosophy, a philosophy she doesn't agree with
The future x-men were the most affected by this story but since they are form the future, their fates didn't really matter to us nor had repercussions to the current x-men
The original x-men fate was also irrelevant since they will soon go to space for their next arc
However, a good thing that came out of this has to do with something that no one speaks about, the future brotherhood of evil, who simply disappeared at the end. Now we have an evil professor X, an evil beast and an evil shape shifting wolverine? that´s something to watch for!!! will they keep trying to accomplish what they couldn't before or will they use their knowledge of future events to change history in some other way? I really hope this is what this crossover was for, bringing evil x-men from the future to the present
