Review: X-Men #7 0

The X-Men investigate something strange in New York City, something weird in the sewers. Spider-Man makes a guest appearance.   The Good The best way to describe this issue is X-Men Detective Agency. The X-Men search for answers in the sewers of New York City. The investigators (Wolverine, Storm, Gambit, and Emma Frost) work together extremely well here. Great banter between the team thanks to writer Victor Gischler who has been wonderful on this volume since the beginning. Penciler and colorer...

Sewers of Manhattan 0

It´s a great idea of marketing the X-Men as the protectors of San Francisco, because New York/Manhattan is saturated with super heroes and it´s nice that other major cities are the location of other groups too. Little brother should be watching 0

So after avoiding this series like one of those sad victims avoiding the vampires I decided to give it a try. My thoughts on it vol.2 should have just been brought back it would have been easier with that and Legacy and I'll explain why.   Plot The X-Men have finally got with the times and have hired themselves a PR person to make the world love them (If they only knew what they've been about since Scott took the helm) and with that he sends out a team to prove it what better way then to start f...

I picked up this issue of the new ongoing X-Menseries based solely on the cover, which had incredible artwork. Also the fact that Spider-Man was joining the team for an excursion peaked my interest. Here's what I've gathered from jumping into the story thus far: the X-Men have relocated to San Fransisco in order to have a fresh start and have ev...

Pure Entertainment in the Vein of Classic X-Men 0

Having began my subscription of X-Men (3rd series) near the end of the vampire arc, I decided that this particular issue would be a good starting point for the newcomer of X-Men core titles. Gischler is a relative unknown and newcomer in the comic industry, so, I was interested to see what direction this series would take and what kind of stories it would give us. After reading the issue, I was left with a feeling reminiscent of 90's age X-Men issues, and, in my mind that is not a bad thing, so ...
