When Cable reformed the New Mutants, he made them his soldiers. They became a mutant "black ops" team, assigned to kill not just the enemies of the X-Men, but of all mutantkind. Although this team eventually disbanded, the X-Force moniker has persisted in successive iterations of more and more aggressive X-teams.
The article says that the New X-Force title will star Wolverine, Archangel, Psylocke, Fantomex and Deadpool!! Now I don't know about you but these were my guesses!!! They all seem appropriate for X-Force and imagine all the kinds of awesome it would be!?!?!
I just hope Psylocke, Fantomex and Deadpool get X-Force type costumes!!

I think that's because technically that's not X-Force in the Second Coming arc. Cyclops just told Wolverine to take whoever he needs and he choose her, it's still in the X-Force book because of the story line. I think that technically X-Force is over/closed by Cyclops and the X-Force title is just Wolverine's team. Cable and Cypher there too, but technically they're not X-Force either (even though Cable founded X-Force and I think he should have returned to lead the team instead of Wolverine).
Hmmm yeah, well Marvel have decided to go with a completely new team, I'm just happy that Psylocke's in it!! Also Mike Carey had an interview on Marvel yesterday and he said he's gonna be using Psylocke in Legacy AND she was described as being a 'major player' in upcoming issues of the new adjective less X-Men in the coming months, so if she continues to appear in Uncanny she'll be in FOUR regular titles every month!! :O
I don't see anyway Wolverine would agree to have Deadpool on his team....but Still X-force has good writers and good art maybe they can shine a new light on Pool.
I'm gonna miss Dom and X-23 tho.... =( both of them need their own Ongoing

The new Uncanny X-Force is getting a different creative team. Yost, Kyle, (writers) and O'Back (color), and Choi (pencils) (current X-Force team) are not working on the new team. I think the current X-Force title might get canceled. The new Uncanny X-Force team is Rick Remender (from Punisher/ Frankencastle) and artist Opena (Moon Knight/Punisher).

@Baddamdog: The article from Bleeding cool says so. And Marvel announced that Remender was taking over X-Force days/weeks ago (or maybe I saw a tweet from Remender, don't remember source). I follow Punisher/Frankencastle and X-Force, so I already knew who Remender was when I read about it. I just didn't know it was going to be a new title, I thought Remender would just continue current X-Force title.
From Bleeding Cool: Uncanny X-Force #1 by Rick Remender and Jerome Opena will launch in October and you can expect to hear Marvel announce the project at San Diego.
@jamesewelch: Lol woops, I missed that, maybe I got carried away with the characters :D What are those two like?? I've been looking at some of this guys art, and I'm not sure :S I think it'll suit the the tone of the issue, so like the violence and all that, I just don't think it's aesthetically pleasing.
@Baddamdog: I'm a fan of Remender, but I am not a fan of his invention of Frankencastle. After listening to a bunch of Podcasts with him on it, following his tweets, and reading about the Punisher/Frankencastle arc, I like him a little less - not so much about the Frankencastle arc (Marvel monsters stuff is just not my thing), but how he talked down to all of the Punisher fans who rebelled against Frankencastle calling them stupid and such (sure, lots of long time Punisher fans went a little too extreme in their reviews, but they are the fans/buyers of the title). As a comic book writer, I don't think you should be trash talking the people that buy your comics. Sure, there's some bad reviews of Frankecastle and lots of fans upset at it, but it's a controversial change and he should have known it be controversial. I still think he's a good writer, but I'm not going to buy it just because he's there or not there, etc. As far as Jerome Opena, I don't really know his art except from a few Moon Knight and Punisher issues. It seems a good fit for him, but as long as the art doesn't distract from the story or interfere with the story part, I'm okay with most any art.
I'm mostly concerned with whether this means Punisher title will get canceled after he reverts back from Frankencastle or if they'll hire a new Punisher writer. I think this means the current Kyle/Yost X-Force title might also get canceled. If not, do we need 2 X-Force ongoing titles? How many X books would that make?

It just doesn't sound right :S X-Force has never had an adjective and it's always sounded way cooler without it!! @jamesewelch: Hmmm oh dear, never good to anger the fans!! Hopefully he doesn't do anything to 'controversial' to these characters, if he harms my Psylocke I will lose it!!!
@Edamame: It's Ongoing, but so was X-Force and it's lasted around 30 issues, despite amazing sales and great fan responses :/ hmph I'm bitter about the whole thing.....apart from Psylocke being on it.....that I like....

Read the news on Comic Vine's home page (or any other comic book news outlet, read Marvel's news, or read the forums, etc.). You find out titles get canceled the same way you find out new titles are coming out.
@Edamame: Ermmm well usually it's coz of low sales, but sometimes they do it to start a new event or to try and 're-vitalize' a series, for example New Avengers, Mighty Avengers and Dark Avengers were cancelled for the start of the Heroic Age and the new start of all those new Avengers titles, but S.W.O.R.D was cancelled, for example, because of low sales. They usually announce a cancellation of a title, or it just disappears from solicits and previews ect. However sometimes titles just aren't cancelled i.e. Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man ect. ect. ect....
Uhm, am I the only one not liking Archangel holding a gun? Also, Psylocke's thighs look off and her shoulders, specifically the right one looks a little... awkward...
I love the add of psylocke, but i find it hard to believe she would join the team when she seemed very turned off by some of the things the xforce team did in the first part of second coming. maybe she is there to calm down their extreme measures, which could create some great tension. i'm very unhappy of the loss of domino, elixir and wolfsbane. three extremely underused characters with great backgrounds and so much potential story to be told. i am also really, really unhappy about deadpool. i abhor him. i find his character despicable. he is the most common denominator for the average fanboy, a smart mouth idiot with tons of guns. btw-why the f' is warren holding a gun, does he need one?
after glancing at his Bio i can't say i like him.....just a dude with guns....I would have rather had Domino, Hope theirs a good reason for her leaving.
Also a missed opportunity for Dom and Deadpool banter =( they have a lot of history.
OMG!! aahh!! PSYLOCKE IN X-FORCE! I have wished for this to happen way before and now it's happening! haha im soo excited, i cant wait for this to happen! i dont really care for the others as long as Betsy is there. She will finally show off all her bad ass skills and kick ass! haha hope the creative team that has been working with x-force since the new run stays the same, i have really enjoyed the writting and the art, it just makes it great. And the artist is one of the few who have remembered that Psylocke is actually ASIAN, and drawn her properly. Hopefully this will be a great "new" book! Hope that as time progresses more characters join, like Domino i mean, Why the hell is she not there anyways?? i really like her, and Illyana, i would really like her to be in this series, she is a really interesting character and with her being kinda wacko, you know, since she got no soul or whatever, she would do some serious damage! Overall im just really excited!!
This book is going to be epic. Remender is fantastic. Opena is great. Psylocke, Wolverine, Arachangel, Fantomex, E.V.A., and Deadpool(who is okay sometimes) and it's been said that the cast will expand so Domino might even come back.
And the K&Y X-Force wasn't cancelled. They left the book due to other projects. Kyle said he was going to be doing more work on the animation side of things and yost hhas some projects of his own. They always planned to leave after Second Coming and that's why the book has a new creative team. Sales weren't low at all.
