    X-Force

    Team » X-Force appears in 1999 issues.

When Cable reformed the New Mutants, he made them his soldiers. They became a mutant "black ops" team, assigned to kill not just the enemies of the X-Men, but of all mutantkind. Although this team eventually disbanded, the X-Force moniker has persisted in successive iterations of more and more aggressive X-teams.

What collections are there for the original 1990s X-Force series? There doesn't seem to be many.
Are any planned? Sort of like a X-Force Classic I guess...

I don't think there are any.  It surprises me how few trade collections there are of the spin-off X-Titles there are (i.e. most stuff from the 90's like X-Factor, Gen X & X-Force).

I'm not sure.  It's strange because they've collected a lot of the original Cable material (first appearance in New Mutants, end of New Mutants & the first Cable mini series) but not early X-Force.

I think it's because some of their most popular characters were "created" by him.  Even though the amount of thought that went into "creating" Deadpool or Cable is debatable.  It's only subsequent artists & writers who have done anything decent with "his" characters.

Yeah, there's some in Cable and the New Mutants , some in X-Tinction Agenda, one issue is in Deadpool Classic 1 and the end of New Mutants is in X-Force: Shatterstar
I think that covers NM 86-100 with the exception of 92.
