Now's that;s Some pretty art!

   I can't say that I've been following the X-Force/X-Men storylines very well so this comic was kind of like my second in considering I had just picked up X-Men #!(the vampire one).   I really like the art in this book, it is awesome!  The actual story is pretty good but I really made this a 4/5 for art sake.  The beginnings of a good story are there, but I'm starting to think that MAYBE this 3 issue set will be more like a Punisher series than X-Men.  But maybe that is what they are going for, dark and gritty.  I really loved this issue and I'm definitely buying the other 2 on the strength of the art alone if nothing else.

 Ive always been a fan of X-Men, but never really commited myself to reading alot of the comics. Mostly because it never had much violence in it. Well, let me re-phrase, It never had alot of R rated bloody violence. Im going to have to give this a 4.5 out of 5, because its finally a real adult version of X-Men, X-Force: Sex & Violence is now on the top of my awesome list.   The art alone is enough to buy all 3 issues, its beautiful, but dark. It really helps set the serious side to the comic...

Whoa-ho-ho! What a headrush that was! I can almost smell the cordite and blood... This issue ROCKS!! I was always a fan of all things X-Men, but returning after years in Comic-Book-Wilderness, I`ve been casting a cynical eye over these new-fangled comic publications.
