So far, nothing is going right for the members of X-Force. For starters, Boomer is still visiting Sabretooth, as well as receiving unwanted advice, the latest coming from Wolverine. Then, Cable's team in Siberia severely mishandles the Mimic to the point that end up with no answers. Lastly, Siryn is undercover, but her mission is long over and there is still no one to bust her out.

    Synopsis

At the Weisman Institute for the Criminally Insane, Siryn breaks into the director's office to dig up some information. She is caught, however, and tries to come clean by mentioning that Professor Xavier was curious as to why the facility had stopped communicating. Dr. Weisman herself gives no answers but has the young mutant forcibly taken back to her room.

In Siberia, X-Force begin a fight with the Mimic. It does not go well, as Caliban gets blasted by an optic beam, Warpath gets through through the Pacrat, and Cable is momentarily fazed by the telepathic strain and feedback. Cable gets a sense that there has been a misunderstanding, as the Mimic seems to be reacting to the attack on the monitoring station, as opposed to being the cause. Cable tries to call Sunspot off the attach, but Sunspot does not listen. Mimic gains Sunspot's powers and the two essentially blow each other away. Cable gathers his group and Caliban leads them to the Mimic. But the Mimic is gone.

At Xavier's Institute, Boomer yet again brings Sabretooth a bowl of milk. It gets weird when he nuzzles into her like a cat. She leaves and Sabretooth speaks for the first time since getting Wolverine's claw through his skull; he says his name. Boomer is then warned by Wolverine to keep away from Sabretooth. Boomer can't help but feel like the men in her life are a bit too controlling.

Siryn paces in her room. She attempts to contact Cable with a makeshift radio, but it doesn't work - just like the last 19 times she's tried. She's desperate to get out so she calls the one man she knows she can get through to: Deadpool. And all the while, Jeremy Stevens observes her from his adjacent room.
