    Selene Rising

If any of you follow my blogs and reviews you might have read my mid-crossover blog about Necrosha and wether it was all it could be.  Well I have to say that X-Force #24 has changed my mind about this storyline considerably.  Finally, an issue that was worthy of the hype that had been built up around this whole thing!  I complained about Blink and Thunderbird the most and they for the most part delivered this issue, Thunderbird (all decomposed and decrepit, as he should be) showed us that while Selene is controlling the reanimated forms, the reawoken minds were still somewhat free...which allowed him to tell Warpath how to defeat Selene (or so we are told).  Now Blink I still am not completely thrilled with...when she died, she was a hero and yeah i get it that Selene brought her back (and not through a techno organic means might i mention) but she is acting every bit as ruthless and evil as Eli Bard with no apparent reason since she doesnt SEEM to be under mind control.  She still seems like a big question mark to me and while her arm blinking scene with Vanisher (yay reformed long time X-men villains) still doesnt really give validation to her presence here.  And going back to Eli Bard...WOW Didnt really see that coming!  Not that i thought Selene was ever going to give him anything, but I certainly didnt expect her to kill him like that...shes usually very into her humble lowly servants/worshippers.  So far overall I have felt that Necrosha storyline  has been a little weak, the New Mutants part was jsut a flashy way to get Doug Ramsey back on the team and the X-men Legacy part would have been better as just a straight Proteus storyline. Neither part really felt like it advanced the "Selene's plot" storyline at all and even the main X-Force storyline has felt a little haphazard and thrown together, but this issue gave me at least hope for a good solid ending to the story.  The only problem remains is can they make the Doug and Proteus parts seem worth it and can they give Blink, Wither and Mortis a purpose in just one issue.  X-Force #25 better be BIIIIIIG. :)

Easily the best issue of Necrosha X yet 0

The story basically picks up from where issue 23 ended and the team going the Necrosha.  I found that the main bulk of the story focused on Selene, which i was thankfull for as we've not really had much detail about her its mostly been about her inner circle of followers.  During the isse there are a couple of fight sequences which fell epic however, what appealed to me were the more story driven moments between Selene and her inner circle for example when she was talking to Eli Bard and the dea...
