Thoughts on X-Factor

Well, it;s 11:38 am here and I just got home from a shift I started at 8:00 pm last night (gotta stay up til late so I'm not sleeping xmas day) so I'm bored enough to ask random questions :)

So, what do you think of X-Factor ? I always thought there were just too many X teams and never bothered to read any until Messiah Complex but that got me realaly in to it. My catch-up has taken me to #12 and so far I think it's surprisingly good. Anyone else love/hate it ?

The current series has constantly been the best X-Book.

i really enjoy this series much more than the original run or any of the x titles out their now. im only reading the others for the plot of Messiah, and i only read the X-Factor ones during the Endangered Species

I love Madrox. It has been great. I am jealous of the whole Siryn/M love affair.

MADROX UR THE DUDE.

David's characterisation actually makes you care for the characters and his pace and the actual arcs are great. They mix action with personal issues within the group that parralel Madrox's internal struggle.

THE MUST READ X-BOOK FOR 2008.

Favorite x book with my favorite x man. Funny and also serious without being depressing.

Siryn having his baby is going to make it weird when Layla comes back to marry him.

didn't layla kill him? in the same issue that they realised bishop was the traitor so that Madrox would know it was him and warn the x-men.

i never was a fan of the orignial x-factor, but the latest series of xfactor rockssssssssss! its full of comedy, action, and awesome characters, like M :D

Richtor...Idk...he just doesn't do it for me....Wolfsbane is freakin weird....no love her...and strong guy...he seems out of place

I disagree with your opinion about Wolfsbane and Rictor... but I find Strong Guy annoying.. really annoying...

Rictor: he's human, and David does a good job in putting across his juxtaposed feelings: he also adds a new perspective to the team, making X-Factor more realistic than the X-Men.

Wolfsbane: I prefer her in X-Force.

Every single character on the X-Men is a mutant, and even with the help a telepath, they can never understand the human mind or mutant fear/hate.

I'm sorry, "realistic" was the wrong word... I just feel that they are more accessable to the non-mutant world of Marvel.....David's also a good writer and the majority of the team's members are/ were before being on the team Marvel C -listers.... that leaves more room for character development which is a bonus (esp with David' writing).

LOL well supergirl with telepathy.

But i do love M regardless. Her Personality and character design more than makes up for her powers.

Couldn't agree with you more. I was so excited when I saw the artwork in 37 and I was like OH BOY THE ART IS GOOD AGAIN! But they went back to the old style. Lame.
