X-Factor # 5 - Tapped Out

If your a mutant with incredible power, you'd better beware because Timeshadow, Fury, and Stinger will kidnap you if you don't watch out!  And not even X-Factor can help you then!

X-Factor gets a call from Susan Nowlan to seek protection from her ex-husband Michael Nowlan. She indicates that he has become involved with dangerous people who unbeknownst to her are apart of the newly created Alliance of Evil (Tower, Frenzy and Stinger)that work for Apocalypse. They make the trip to California to met with Michael also known as the Source, find out that he has the mutant power enabling him able to augment other's mutant powers increasing them to incredible levels. X-Factor suffers their first major defeat at the hands of the Alliance of Evil.

NOTE:  Frenzy of the Alliance Of Evil is named Fury in the solicitation. This is also the first cameo appearance of Apocalypse.
