Everybody is distracted by her boobs Shatterstar.
Issue #216 of X-Factor.
The Story:
Ballistique from the Vegas arc comes back and gets one of her old friends and J.Jonah Jameson comes to X-Factor to help him solve the murder of a highly respected friend of his.The Good:
Peter David always delivers the comedy gold and almost every page. Also I never really taught about how does X-Factor Investigations work in NYC when JJJ hates capes so much but it makes sense and it does give us a pretty good plot.We also see some other sub-plots in the series like Layla and Rahne are talking about Rahne's recent involments with X-Force because even tough the main X-Men team know about it X-Factor are just off doing their own thing and haven't learned about it and as Peter David himself has said in an interview on CBR if they learned about they wouldn't really care.We also get a Spider-Man cameo but I pleased with it since M was basically criticizing him and telling him he has poor grammar, the reason why I like it is because I seriously don't care about the web-head.Now I haven't the Vegas arc and it seems there was character introduced there and she comes back here and gets one of her old friends and are off to kill JJJ wich should be interesting. The Bad:
Even tough I like the art what I liked about De Landro's art was that the way he drew woman was pretty realistic without the over exagerated breast's but here it'S the usual woman with huge breast's but the only one that sin't a problem for is Monet. Also the Spidey cameo was kinda pointless but since it was basically insulting him I liked. The Verdict: This issue delivers great comedie with an interesting plot with great characterizations as usual. Some stuff might confuse you but I say wait until the Vegas arc comes out in trade and you will understand. This is a buy and if you want to read this series start with the last issue and this one
