This marriage would have ended badly anyways.
Issue 215 of X-Factor.
The Story: Jamie and Layla investigate the murder of a man who was killed by a vampire after the events of the "Curse of the Mutants" storyline who the client thinks her stepmother killed him.
The Good: Peter David knows how to put comedie well in this by using Jamie's dupe's well, big plus for having a Dirty Harry dupe. Also we get development with Layla's subplot of her learning magic from Dr.Doom that was from issue 200 to 203 (I haven't read it but I will get the trade) and it's turning up to be a pretty good mysterie as to why she wants to learn magic and there is a progression of Jamie and Layla's relationship.I must commend Peter David for doing research for ancient magic from Ethiopia. Also this is a good way of using the recent events from the other important X-Men books to show how this affects the world in a little way that makes sense. Also I liked De Landro's art here more than in issue #213.
The Bad: The inking is kinda bad in some places.
The Verdict: This is a nice one in done issue with Jamie and Layla with great humour, great character development,a very emotional scene in one page and good art. This is a buy and a great jumping on point and next issue we get SPIDEY.
