    Okay, this review will be shorter than usual to illustrate a point. I know x-factor's 2nd coming foray is simply a by the numbers affair only put in to fit in line with the larger mutant storyline going on at the moment. However, the first 2 issues were pretty good, they had me interested at least. 
    The conclusion though felt rushed and half-hearted. I just felt like one of those old a-team episodes where verything worked out ok and everyone got shot at but there were no casualties. It just felt like it was missin something.  
     
    That said , I'd not not been a fan of x-factor before but this mini has got me interested.

      X-Factor bands together for a final stand against Trask, his SWAT-team style flunkies and their outlandish tanks.  The Good David gives all of these characters distinct voices and I was always entertained to see how they were bantering with eachother. I especially liked Multiple Man's role as an unsure, possibly ill-suited hero and M's cold, rational acceptance of an alliance with Mordo, even though the man just drained her like a vampire (as she says.)       X-Factor #206 Second Coming Revelations I have to say that Peter David is the master at writing multiple story plots within the same title.   Time and again the team is separated into groups and has their own individual tasks then get brought back together in seamless ways.   We don’t seem to ever have the issue of his characters being 15 different places in the Marvel Universe at once…except Madrox, but at least that is easily explainable.
