My Opinion
Liked: I like how certain aspects of the story were different from the 616 universe; Wolverine was YOUNG, Shaw & Emma were also teenagers....b/c if u notice, w/ various interpretations the characters age groups r kinda "all over the place". I also liked how Xavier and Magneto (Prof Magnus) were both under the same roof and their teams hadn't really formed or been established yet. I like a certain twist that was also done with Jean Grey, now I don't want to ruin anything so I won't say what it is. I also like how Cyclops had a certain degree of control with his powers and he didn't need those glasses, I also like how they didn't make a Cyclops Jean Grey romance right off the bat. I liked how just about all the main characters were thrown into the story. I like how Emma Frost was put in this story as well, she wasn't in EVO, that would have been interesting.
Disliked: the art was ok, but I guess it fit the theme of this story. I would have liked to have seen Pietro and Wanda, I thought those two being Magnus' children they'd without a DOUBT be in it, but they'll probably come along in the future, probably Lorna too. They should def thro Kitty Pryde in there! they HAVE TOO. The writers should have taken more risks. I can understand why they would wanna play it safe, but this being a completely different universe & storyline u can do what u want, take a CHANCE!
Storm: Any comic, movie, or cartoon that features Storm I WILL talk about her specifically b/c she is my favorite. They didn't touch too much on her background but thats ok, but she did mention her father being an alcoholic, this is definitely a different background b/c in the 616 universe her parents die when shes still a young child. I LOVED how they show her using her powers with such ease. I liked how Rogue said she was a thief, this kinda touched base with her 616 self being a thief when she was a child in Cairo...altho Storm isn't a "thief" to everyone, but X-Campus really didn't get into that,s o its no big deal LOL. Storm's look suited her for the story.
Overall: I enjoyed this version and am looking forward to more, I hope there will be more :-) i give this a 4/5
