So....
This issue was kind of interesting and meh for me at the same time. I felt gypped that Laura wasn't going to have a real hell adventure. I had my bags all packed and I was set to see some nitty gritty stuff, and I wanted to see her helping save Wolverine, maybe some Daken time. The flashbacks were cool--I always love seeing interaction scenes with her mother--but a bit too sappy for me. Liked the 'too much empathy' scene, but the puppy scene was a bit over the top (for me). The Hellion part just seemed stupid, for me. What a lame way to break something like that off. Julian doesn't remember anything, as Frost confirmed, why wouldn't he talk to Laura when he notices her in the room? Yeah, there was violence, but he didn't actually get hurt. Why the heck would he assume it's Laura then? Sorry, not on the Liu boat with this one.
I also noted in the description of recent events thing at the start of the issue that the 'halfway house' that Laura had been sent to was to be her new home. WTF? Seriously...she's a mutant. I could see her going to visit them, maybe pull a few shifts helping, but moving there? Utopia is her home. Was her home, apparently. I think it's cool to have her leave...but the reasons weren't good enough. Also why wasn't Logan at that meeting where they decided Laura could go? Yeah he's a demon, but they don't know that, and seeing as he adopted her--and she is a minor--I'd assume they should ask him first.
