Who Would You Cast
anyone but megan fox and summer glau for x23 please lol needs to be like mid teen to do role properly so iam not a source of knowledge on who to name lol
" Someone like her but younger! For Sofia!that maybe a tough search but if marvel fund me iam willing to try lol , who you thinking for hellion?
"
the thing that throws me off is the ages all the time since 9if marvel try to make them clsoe to comic age the people cast will haev to be quite young , but knowing marvel they will probs make um same age as people like storm etc and completely screw age groups up lol, sofia is a poss for sure
on other threads i have seen alot of people liking summer galu to do it but not for me , i think marvel would have to do some scouting for laura
lol worth a try for sure if the role ever turns up that is, if they ever re cast spidey iam there lol
thast preety much what i think to which is lame since unless cyrus cna pull off badass iand fox actually cares about doing it i don twant either and fox is so overused right now
yeah ths what i said in the summer glau arguemnet , need someone who looks like she wouldnt harm you on second till she will skin you alive seconds later , i cnat see miss ox pulling that off myself
well shes only a tene still so she should be shorter than most of the full grown adults for sure, shes a tough one to cast sicne ideally she would have a resemblance to logan/her mother to but that just making casting impossible lol
i mean she must pyshcaly look like her mother , and in term sof actions movemnet resemble logan my bad should of made that clear lol
i know what you mean i mens that she should sniff air use her sences etc like logan cos there pretty simular , if anything x-23 needs to be the opposite of logan in terms of build she needs to be more sporty looking rather than logans more tankish apperence
Is that Nicole Richie you suggested for Sofia?
Dude, anyone but her. She and Paris Hilton annoy the #*^! out of me. Sofia's supposed to be the nice girl that everyone loves...not someone from the Simple Life.
PS- if it's not, forgive me, I'm not always able to tell my celebs apart, but whoever that is sure looks like Richie.
Oh also Eliza Dushku might do a good Laura. Another thought I had is Amy Acker:
was just amazing. I'm sure she could pull off something like Laura's role would require. I realize she's a bit older, but she has that 'innocent' look and
could definitely portray Laura in early 20's.
If the movie was done with Laura as a teen, then it would pretty much need to be a fresh talent. No teen actresses out there that quite look right for the role, IMO.
For Julian, I haven't seen anyone that would work for him yet. I'll keep my eye out and share here if I have an idea...he would have to be really hot to be good for the role =P (yes, fangirl).
Summer Glau for Laura. Everyone needs to come to given Megan Fox a rest, and read this article about her. Granted, it's her job, but still....
Megan Fox Interview With Brad Curran
Okay, I'm a little late on this. To be fair, I can't be expected to watch Jimmy Kimmel no matter who's on there, can I?
So, according to this article, Megan Fox let her comic geek flag fly on Jimmy Kimmel last Friday. What classics of sequential art is she a fan of?
Now she’s brought comics into the mix, telling Jimmy Kimmel on Friday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live show that she’s a fan of Witchblade, Fathom, and of J. Scott Campbell’s art on Gen 13.
Oh, well, uh, yeah, that sure is something I don't think anyone beyond 15 year old boys in 1996 has ever said. Wait, what's that? She's going in to more detail?
“I’m a big fan of J. Scott Campbell,” Fox said. “I think he’s a good artist.”
Oh dear.*
Seriously?
She couldn't have even said Jonah Hex? You know, the source material of a movie she's going to be in?
Beyond the fact that this isn't going to effect my superficial admiration of the woman and her oeuvre**, I actually think this is admirable. Because I have to believe she actually like these comics. Surely if she was just being fed nerd pandering answers by a PR team (and I've always wondered if she was doing that in other interviews), she would have at least thrown Watchmen and Maus in there.
Also, those may be the only comics she's ever read, because I can imagine someone trying to cast her in movies based on those properties, so I can cut her some slack there, too. Really, Megan Fox could come to my house, rip up all of my X-Men comics, and stab me, and I'd still cut her some slack. Which she would be justified in doing if I had gone with my original title, "Megan Fox has terrible taste in comics."***
Oh, and Kimmel opened this line of discussion by saying she wanted to be a comic book artist as a kid. I really don't know how to process that dubious anecdote.
*I actually think Campbell does action pretty well. I liked the parts of Danger Girl that didn't try to go beyond set pieces. Those were pretty fun. And he is the medium's first great Bruce Campbell renderer, so that should also be considered beyond his being a favorite of the hot girl from Transformers.
**If nothing else, I'm proud of myself for not making a pun about her body for work and then giggling for 20 minutes.
*** And while I'm inciting Ms. Fox to violence, I might as well make the same joke about her that Cliff Bleszinski did; she seems to be physically incapabale of closing her mouth.
