Does anyone know what nationality X-23 is?
X-23
Character » X-23 appears in 2383 issues.
X-23 is a product of the Weapon X program, born from a damaged sample of Wolverine's DNA. She has recently aged up, being saved from the Vault.
What do you think?
She's whatever nationality Logan/Wolverine is, and he happens to be Canadian, born and bred since the 1890's. He's Caucasian, and Laura/X-23 is his clone, therefore she is Caucasian too. Also, her mother was not Chinese. For one, Sarah Kinney's full sister Debbie is not Chinese; as a second, her last name is Irish in origin (Kinney).
" I would say Chinese but, that is just a guess because I think her mom was Chinese. "Kinney's an irish name
" @fbdarkangel: i concur,so she is half irish and canada. "Note: Laura saying "I'm your clone". Logan is Canadian. He, in turn, is born Canadian, bloodlines part English (from what I could gather from Wolverine Origins). Therefore, Laura is ONLY whatever Wolverine is; Canadian. Perhaps partially English through his bloodlines.
I think it's been listed as unknown,
ethnically she would be Canadian and whatever her mom was,
but nationality as in belonging as a citizen to a certain country, it would most likely be American if that's where the lab was when she was born there
Artists fluctuate, she occasionally looks asian-ish but as a clone of logan she's canadian, white but idk her "mom" looked asian in the comics but her ame didn't match XD
But X-23 looked spanish in X-men Evolution so i guess no one has made a definite choice and she shall remain ambiguous

She's not of Indian descent & 'Singh' is traditionally a male name. In the real world someone's surname doesn't necessarily reflect what ethnic background a person has. On the other hand, comic books aren't usually so diverse, so they usually do reflect someone's background.
Since Wolverine is related to the Hudsons through his mother, Laura is part-Hudson, and part of whoever Logan's father was. All signs point to the Howlett Estate Groundskeeper, named Mr. Logan. Part of this is from Wolverine: Origins the 6-issue miniseries, the rest is from the later Wolverine: Origins series that introduced Daken.
