I can't watch the video because my net is dead so I'll just guess by the subtitle that you liked the issue; as did I, and if Hellion doesn't appear again after his magnificent showing in this issue, I'll be extremely annoyed.
X-23
Character » X-23 appears in 2383 issues.
X-23 is a product of the Weapon X program, born from a damaged sample of Wolverine's DNA. She has recently aged up, being saved from the Vault.
Unscripted Review: X-23 #1
well that brings up a good point: can he use heis powers still?
theywere channeled through his hands
so what now????
I love this character and am so happy we have been given another opportunity to watch her evolve.
I see X-23 as clay in Marjorie Liu's expert artistic hands. Laura, having her personality and humanity stunted and at times ripped away, at key emotional points in her life, has so much room for growth. I can't wait to see where Liu takes her.
I am also wondering if Nyx will return, somehow? I'd like that. Nyx had a way of showing us a softer Laura who longed to be more in touch with her humanity.
Cyclops has been leading the X-Men for how long? I don't know if anyone's noticed but he hasn't exactly been the same since he came back from being merged with Apocalypse years back. I think it's just a case of, everyone loves you when you make the right call but he had to make a lot of shitty decisions that not a whole lot of people like. That's what comes with the job of being a leader. You take the good with the bad.
Quite frankly, I think it's odd that all these people are being upset with him considering they always looked at Scott like a grown boy scout and everyone's been through so much shit. You'd think they would be more adult about it all since everyone on the team has died or nearly died at one point.
Never thought much about X-23, but people are raving over this issue. Combined with her inclusion in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, I'm looking to get into some X-23 storylines. I really just wanna see what she's all about, now. I'm really curious.
Picking this up next week.
5 out of 5 for x23 #1?
Man it was one of septembers most boring issues
eventhough,I like Lauras carachter,in the nex issue I expect a lot more!!!
makes me question where is Mercury. She always defended Laura, like in the scene in the beginning of Mercury Falling arc when Emma Frost verbally abused X-23.
@CaptainGenisVell: X-23 totally "pulled a Hit-Girl" in her limited series from 2005 written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost and pencilled by Billy Tan. It's a great mini-series that tells her origin story but it's worth the read just to see her play the cute little girl assassin. Maybe that's where Mark Millar got the idea...
