Not So Sinister, Miss Sinister 6

X-23's has teamed up with Gambit to uncover the real motive behind Miss Sinister in this issue, and the ending is a killer.  The Good  X-23's team up with Gambit reminded me a lot of his relationship with Storm from Claremont's X-Men days, and this issue is no different. The interaction and dialogue between the two characters is really good, and Gambit acts as a guide for X-23 in a way that Wolverine can't. In his own way, he looks out for her and begs her to heed his advice. X-23's soul searchi...

Mrs. Sinister makes some not so surprising revelations about Laura's past, Gambit is understandably leery of her claims and Laura and Alice bond about clone stuff.   The Good FINALLY a good cover for this title. I was beginning to think that we'd NEVER get one. I mean laura still doesn't look like quite how she should on it (still looks too old), but hey, gambit looks dope. and aside from laura's face and hair, everything else on it is very well done.    Conrad's interior artwork remains strong....

X-23 # 5- Straight to the point and no spoilers 0

Informal review(trying something new):  Ratings: 1-10 scale.  1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.Jump in point:  No Art:                      8 (The last couple of pages are not consistent with the art in the beginning of this issue) Cover:                5 (For me, I like covers that have something to do with the story) Cast:                  7 (I'm not sure, but it wasn't the greatest idea to throw in a bunch of enigmas in a melting pot) Skip:                   Yes (For the most part...

Laura's soul searching gets put on hold 3

Synopsis: What secrets does Ms. Sinister hide in her lair? What's good? I do like that Marjorie Liu is giving Gambit some time as he's kind of been quiet from what I can tell. Gambit has his own demons inside of him and I can understand to a degree why he's traveling with Laura. His interaction with both Laura and Ms Sinister are great, and his personality is in tact. There was something creepy about Ms. Sinister flirting with Gambit in her own way. But Ms. Sinister is hiding something quite.....

    Somebody comes back. 0

Issue 5 of X-23.  The Story: Laura and Gambit follow Miss Sinister into her lair underground and meet's other failed clones and at the end of the issue somebody comes back but you problably already saw the issue's page.  The Good: Marjorie Liu does a good job of makin of making Miss Sinister a good person by havoing take care of failed clones but stillevil when she says she basically brainwashed and then bribed the whole town to do her biding. The conversation between Alice and Laura is very well...

    Clone in the Underground 0

I´ve always been a big fan of Mr. Sinister, since he´s one of the biggest foes of the X-Men, but I didn´t like at all the way he was resurrected in X-Men Legacy # 214 as Claudine/Miss Sinister and no matter the fact that she´s vicious and treacherous just like him, I just don´t like her as a character. Although it´s cool seeing Laura tagging along with Gambit, they make a great team, it´s not so interesting the whole expoitation of the clone thing and how Claudine lured Laura into her plans, spe...
