Don't test Laura!
Hey everybody! So this is my last review of comics for this week! So in this issue Laura is asked to stay with the FF for now, because they want to see what she knows about the earth quake and all that stuff. Meanwhile Reed is trying very hard to figure everything out and everyone is trying to keep Laura composed. Laura gets to meet everyone, some she's friendly with while others eh not so much. As she gets to meet everyone she has one of those attacks which causes an earth quake in their area! The FF has her hooked up to wires and everything for testing, which of course doesn't go so well. They learn that these earth quakes happen within the people who have been possessed by the uni power, which means that Laura, Peter, and Sue each have the uni-power. Val tries to get the radiation to react within them to help them but the three get transported to another world!
The GOOD!
It was cool to see Laura be with the FF and see how she reacted to each person. You can tell she will always have issues with meeting new people because of the way she used to live and everything and I like that this is a way of easing her into meeting other people. Hopefully this will serve as a character development for her. What I also love is how smart and intelligent the kids are but they're still being underminded as "kids". They want to help and be a part of things but Thing still views them as kids that can just watch cartoons and play make believe. I like how Laura reacted badly to being tested on, because of her past.
Art: Noto's art is absolutely awesome! I love how fresh and vivid his art is! I love how he draws the faces in his work. I hope he stays on for a while. I also loved the cover because that scene exactly happened in the comic! I think it's a cool scene!
The BAD!
This issue felt a bit slower than last issue. I kinda expected more to happen in this issue, especially some action . What I also feel is that Laura is gonna be stuck in this attitude forever. She always feels the need to take out her claws as soon as someone doesn't move out of the way. Will she ever stop being like that? That's what I hope Liu doesn with her character in future issues.
The VERDICT!
This was a great issue though! I say pick it up! 4 out of 5!
