Wyture

Overview

Wyture along with Enson, are aspects of the Atlantean being known as Danik designed to infiltrate the community of the God-like beings known as the First, in order to encourage their growth as a species. They do this so that the First may be prepared for the coming war with the Negation Universe. As Wyture, Danik spurns Persha, her supposed life long friend, to complete her goal of bringing the First together into one House. Wyture first encourages Persha to overcome the restrictions placed by her mother Ingra, so that she can pursue her goal and get aide from other powerful members of the First such as Gannish and her father Pyrem of House Dexter. Wyture later boosts Persha's power of perception so that she can locate Altwaal using the Guantlet of Power. Wyture also uses her power to release the deceased Secundae Laia back into the universe. When Persha chooses to remain in House Dexter for a time, Wyture turns her attention to Seahn in order to encourage his recent rise to power as the leader of House Sinister. Enson and Wyture's ultimate goal is manipulate their charges, Sean and Persha, to become the next leader of the First and bring both House Dexter and House Sinister together. By doing this, they would add a great arsenal to their universe, because if the First actually manage to fight together, they would be quite difficult to defeat. Persha and Enson were last seen battling the Hound which hunted their fellow Atlantean Solusandra. Both of them decide that the First are as prepared as they can be and move to rejoin with Danik permanently at the start of the war with the Negation. However this war does not fully come to fruition as the series was canceled after Crossgen was forced to file for bankruptcy. This unfortunately occurred before the First would have gone to war with the Negations version of Gods known as Lawbringers.

Power

Wyture has quite a wide range of abilities which includes super strength, speed, self propelled flight, single or mass teleportation, extra sensory perception, object and sentient life creation, magic, the ability to control a number of energy types in a variety of ways, regeneration, telepathy, empathy, and the ability to survive in the vacuum of space without the need for food, water, or oxygen. Wyture's name is derived from the word flutter and is supposed to govern her personality as she is constantly seen fluttering around in a manner similar to that of a humming bird. This, along with posing a Secundae, gives the impression that she is much too young and too flighty to hold any true power. However, because she is an aspect of Danik, her power range far exceeds that of any other member of the First and she is capable of easily over-powering or directly manipulating them without bringing her power levels to their attention. The only members of the First who seem to be aware of both Wyture's and Enson's manipulations are Gannish and Persha. However, Gannish is still compelled to do what Enson wants and once Persha begins to clearly see what they are, she almost immediately loses that clarity.
