Plot Summary
- The New Superman and Batman Team (written by Cary Bates : reprinted in: Best of DC #19)
An "imaginary tale" in which baby Kal-El loses his powers to a Gold Kryptonite meteor. Otherwise, he lands on Earth normally. But later, after losing his adoptive parents Martha and Johnathan, Clark vows vengeance and becomes Batman! Meanwhile Lex Luthor, a friend of Clark, develops a serum and becomes Superboy! (There is no mention of Bruce Wayne in this story). Can the new duo stop Brainiac and Toyman?
