Worlds' Finest #4
I really like Kevin Kaguire's artwork. I like the facial expressions the most. They just add a lot of the characters. He also does amazing backgrounds. George Perez is penciling the present part of the issues. I like what he is doing. There are some really cool panels that he drew. The story is still revolving around Hakkou invading Tokyo. Now he is in the bay and is attacking the ships that were there. I really like how Paul Levitz is balancing action with character moments. I really like seeing the flashbacks the most because that is when we get the big character moments that I enjoy most about this series. I like the action and how Huntress contributes to the fight even though she is way out powered.
THE BAD:
George Perez does some really ugly faces in this issue. I also think this story was extremely weak to make people want to come back for another story. I think that it was winged a little bit each issue because it lacks the careful plotting that I think comics should have this day and age.
THE VERDICT: 3.5/5 (Good)
I've liked this series. It isn't amazing, but I think there are always parts where I really am enjoying myself reading. If you like any of the characters a lot, I'm sure this is going to be something that you are going to want to read because both of the characters are portrayed extremely well. I also think that the plot has some interesting things to it. If you like the characters, this is going to be for you. If you like a story that is just fun to read, this is also for you.
