    Worlds' Finest?

I'm probably biased in this issue because I love Huntress, however this is probably one of the funniest titles I have read within the New 52! Considering how dark and serious the other DC books have been, this is a breath of fresh air. The chemistry between Power Girl and Huntress is that of close-knit sisters, with their snarky comebacks and their endearing moments. Their organic conversations and reactions make this book worth picking up. They keep this serious book, well... not so serious, almost fun! One would think inter-dimensional hopping would be fun.

Now the 2nd greatest thing in this book was the artwork. The way it shifts from different artists with the "Then." and the "Now." makes it a complete visual feast, that helps the reader fully know, "Oh hey, this is in the present right now." Very simple artwork, that's just so darn pretty to look at.

Only negative thing I have about is how the story began to feel a little muddy as it continued, unsure of it's own direction. But this flaw is easily forgiven, IF they can keep it interesting from this point on!

In the end, this is a solid first title in DC's second wave of New 52 launches, full of action, tons of humor and slight drama. Now can it live up to it's title, "World's Finest"? Only time will tell.

But surprisingly the awesome earth 2 made me pick up this one as we get to see this duo from an alternate world live in the main DC earth. The issue starts in with both Helena and Karen having a nice diner together as they talk about their lives till Karen gets a phone call informing her about the labs she just bought are on fire so they rus...

THE GOOD: There are two artist in this book, but it works extremely well. George Perez's pencils add a lot of details to the backgrounds and gives the characters a special look. Kevin Maguire's style is a little more simple but still stunning. The story is actually where I start to absolutely love this issue. We get to see these two characters interact and I think that writer is adding a lot of chemistry between the two characters. I really like how they are obviously different, but they both ha...
